Jean Feliciano, mayor of Brooke's Point, Palawan, says she is waiting for the Ombudsman's decision on her motion for reconsideration after being suspended due to "oppression or grave abuse of authority" for stopping the operations and ordering the demolition of some structures of a mining company. She insists the company had not filed for local government permits, and that she is only protecting the resources of the municipality.
