- After finally deciding to install a Clesana C1 water-free toilet in our camper, we also made the stink test with an overdue Münster cheese and the sensible nose of a dachshund.
There are so many UA-cam videos about installation and functionality, all are very fine, but does it really not stink?
First, we unpack a Münster cheese, dump it into the Clesana C1 toilet and "flush" the awfully stinky cheese into a welded (sealed) bag.
Then it was time for testing, and Maggie, our little dachshund, couldn't smell anything, we kept the bag for several days, and after 5 days on the dining table or on the floor, not being in the fridge, it is still 100 % free from any odour. Test accomplished and successful.

I denne video tester vi om Clesana C1 toilettet virkelig er komplet lugtfrit. Af hensyn til vores seere, og os selv, har vi lavet testen med en stinkende Münsterost der er lidt over sidste salgsdato. Maggie er vores tester, og se om hun kan lugte noget fra posen.

I am retrofitting my old boat. How can I purchase in the US?
We have asked Clesana, and unfortunately, it seems there are no dealers in the US, and according to Clesana, they don't know any retailers shipping to the US. Personally, I think this could then also be an issue getting new liners and other parts/consumables.

I kan godt glæde jer, der er så mange positive ting ved det. Udover det er lugtfrit er der især 2 ting der vægter højt, at vi ikke længere skal tænke på hvor der er tømmemulighed og hvornår kassetten er fyldt.
