@Based_Gigachad_001 She'd been fired from her job as a dispatcher. What to expect further? To keep cursing her cuz she not only caused debbie dead but also her grandmother who passed away after 3 weeks?
Not sure why she was lecturing her if they were getting many calls about the same thing people's cars being stuck in the flood. She's acting like the lady was the only one. They forgave her, but they won't forget. Forgiveness allows them to free themselves of the anxious anger and resentment they'd feel everyday thinking about their sibling.

I don’t think they should forgive her, she’s trained to help, and calm someone down in case of emergency and she did the exact opposite. They forgave the dispatcher because it seems as though that’s what Debbie would have done, at least from what I understand, Debbie seemed to have been such a kind person, and had she lived she would’ve forgiven the dispatcher
i agree with them forgiving her. She didn’t deserve forgiveness, but forgiving isn’t about the wrongdoer. It’s about freeing yourself of the burden of your anger. So if you choose to forgive it is the best thing you can do for yourself.
It shouldn’t be up to us whether we would have forgiven her or not that doesn’t matter. But that they forgive her thats what matters. If this happened to you yeah you have a right to forgive them or not, but for this family its up to them if they want to forgive give her or not, and they did, and thats all that matters. Its not up to us to decide that.

The misconception about forgiveness is that it's for the other person. It's not. It's for you. You can forgive someone without ever speaking to them again.
