Thank you for your great tutorials they are really helpful! I have a question regarding the joining definition. If I do not check the "simplify the result", I won't be able to then use "thick surface" command . Could you please provide more information about this simplify option? As I searched about it it is for reducing the numbers of faces and elements, But I can't get how it is necessary for this case.
Thank you very much for your catia v5 video tutorials. I find this GSD Example very useful but using the disassembling command cause non parametric model and we cant edit any surface parametrically.
@@mohamedzakaria67 yes, I saw your model, it is pretty much the same, slightly improved by not disassembling the main surface, good work ! the part is nice, as well :)
I tried your turorial twice. Each time appears the following error message as I tried to ThickSurface: "ThickSurface.1 The result cannot be assembled because of a current or permanent restriction." The bottom part has problem.
@@workbenchstuff Please give me your mail address which I can reply. I would like to send the image. I use CATIA V5-6R2017. I can't do Thicksurface as appears the error message.
@@workbenchstuff you've send me only this tutorial URL. you did not respond noting to my question. I have to say with V5-6R2017 it could not be applicable Thicksurface.
Thank you! Very neat and clear video!

Nice sir
how do i select multiple elements on specification tree? like @22:55
to select them in a row, select one, hold Shift and select the last one; to select one by one use Ctrl
