I REALLY want to watch this, old Anime hits so much more than most current stuff.
When I saw the amusement-park murder, I was shocked by the level of gore. 🤯 It was in such contrast to everything else looking cutesy. I read on a fan board recently that the artist for _Detective Conan_ said that he wrote the ending to the over-arching story and put it in a vault. Reportedly, he told an estate lawyer that if he died before he finished the manga series, the lawyer would open the vault and reveal the ending. I hope this is true. 😮 | A fan who is a friend told me the artist does "character profiles" of other famous fictional detectives, and he did one of Detective Adrian Monk. Did you see that before drifting away from the series?

This anime sounds very familiar, you said it was on Adult Swim? I might’ve seen it a long time ago on that. Watched quite a bit on Adult Swim as a kid, so I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this on there at some point.

Thank you very much! I am actually an animator for my main job - you might see my work in video games, tv shows, and movies, though I can't post the stuff that hasn't yet been released!
