- Liverpool have won the League Cup for the 10th time after an EPIC 1-0 win over Chelsea at Wembley.
Captain Virgil van Dijk was the hero for the Reds, heading home an extra time winner as Jürgen Klopp's injury-hit side produced one of the great cup final performances in the club's history. - Спорт
Fan for nearly 54 years… one of the best team wins I can remember… fantastic memories. So proud of being a Red, so proud of the fans and so very proud of the players and staff.

5:38 it’s inconceivable that the ref Chris Kavanagh didn’t even bother to give a yellow card for Caicedo’s brutal stamp on Gravenberch’s ankle, it might be accidental but it’s a potential leg breaker with its velocity. When Jones got red carded for his accidental slipping off the top of the ball, it was nowhere near Caicedo’s steamrolling lunge into Gravenberch! And Chris Kavanagh says there’s nothing to see, just carry on. 🤬

Dear Mr Klopp,
Thank you so much for everything you have done for Liverpool Football Club. We understand that it has taken a huge effort from you and your staff, however after watching the team yesterday we would ask you reconsider. Yesterday just showed that all your hard work is just starting to bear fruit. With all the youngsters breaking into the first team this is the time we need you the most to ensure the academy players are successfully integrated into the first team. We worry a new manager may not have as much invested in the academy as you do, and this may block the progression from academy to first team for the youngsters.
We completely understand your reasons for leaving however we would not wish you to regret your decision in a few months time. Maybe you could pass on more of the responsibility to Pep allowing him to prove himself before taking over completely in a year or twos time. The club is needs continuity to progress smoothly. If you and all the back room team leave together this summer this could be catastrophic and undo all your good work.
Again we completely understand that you need a break but please Mr Klopp we urge you to think again, is this the right time and is there any other way.

Brilliant win. Made up we beat them. It was looking like they would score but we hung on and got the goal.
