  • The Chinese scammer, Han Tony, "refunded" me a couple nights ago, but only on his conditions. hahaha. He demanded he can't wire the funds back to me and that only paypal or a chinese bank works for him. the scam continues, as I believe this is still part of his scam script. Why else would he go through paypal, paying with his credit card? The exact thing he WOULDN'T let me do when I was paying him.

I swear this man goes through life with the naivety of a 12-year old girl; never before have I witnessed such juvenile thinking eminating from the body of what appears to be a 25-30 year old adult man. I mean, from the very beginning up until the present time he handled this situation exactly as what would be expected of a middle-teen girl rather than a mature adult. I am left utterly speechless.

A buddy of mine ordered a 127.00 electric scooter from China a year ago. He waited and waited for it. Finally, when the package came it was two 5.00 super cheap watches. He complained to the bank and even located the whare house in the US where they were shipped from. He was so pissed, he flew from Fl to Calif just to track them down. It was a Chinese in LA. the warehouse where nobody spoke English...or at least claimed they didn't.
Yes, it cost him MUCH more than the scooter for the trip but he didn't care. In the end, they finally offered him only a 20.00, (after spending 127.00 + shipping) refund "IF" he would agree to ship the junk watches back to China at his expense. No apology or refund in the end for anything. Every effort to recover his money was met with a brick wall. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER order anything that seems to be a deal from the Chi-Coms.
It's a shame that decent American Chinese people (not ripoffs) in this country are getting bashed every day. Hate crimes against Asian people spiked 150% in 2020. These SCAM trolls are a big reason why......

Because of a pink color, I'd definitely ask for a refund too! Unacceptable! 😂
Have they done it in purpose? To pissed you off even more, on top of the scam... Thank you man for these videos, I came across these "amazing electric cars" on Alibaba a few days ago and I was very curious whether this was legit or not, too good to be true. China has a great void in morality, ethics, etc.

I think the worst part of this is that they do have a factory. They are building cars. They could have just made it to look like the supercar, rather than the bubble go-kart. Even if they just used the golf cart motors and all, it could be upgraded to almost anything you want.
They could be legitimately selling those pretty supercar shaped golf carts, or even upgrade them to bigger motors and more batteries, while staying under that $20k cost. They don't *have* to scam anyone.
There are pretty production cars that are crappy stamped metal, with bare minimum parts. {cough}{cough}Hyundai{cough}, that people like to drive and show off.
That "supercar" may drive like a 3 cylinder VW bug, and the seats may be horribly uncomfortable, but they could be manufacturing them. Then it would just be up to people like you and I to swap in good parts as necessary to really have a performance electric car.
It looks like they already modeled it in some CAD software to render it on their site. They just had to make it.
I guess they may not even have a manufacturing facility though. They may just be buying the golf cart from someone else, to ship in the scam. But that still puts them into a position to ask the golf cart factory to build a car with the supercar skin.

According to an article I read:
Michery said the start-up expects to price the U.S. version of the K50 at around $149,000 when it reaches showrooms next year.
The initial target is to sell about 1,000 of the sports cars in 2020, the figure rising to 5,000 annually, starting in 2022. Whether it will be able to build that much of a market is far from certain. Despite the rise in demand for the Tesla Model 3 last year, overall sales of battery-electric vehicles barely topped 1% of the American market.
The Qiantu K50 will initially be sold through five California dealerships owned by Mullen Technologies’ affiliate, Mullen Auto Sales. The new car company says it is negotiating franchises with other retailers and hopes to open another showroom in Brooklyn, New York, by the time the first K50 is ready for the U.S. market.

I've been scammed, plenty of times, after making purchases that came from China. They've gotten around $1000 (total) from me, before I realized what they were (truly) about (scamming). They'll advertise something "nice," and send you something totally different (CHEAP), because they know a lot of people, probably, won't waste the time, or money trying to return the item for a full refund. So I say "NO" to any transaction that deals with China. If I can't drive to that person/ place that makes / sells the item, then I'll take a hard "Pass." I wish you the best of luck getting your money back. I wasn't so lucky.😞
