The police have such strange priories. They can’t turn up to actual crimes but always seem to have resources for non-crimes. Why don’t the call handlers tell callers that it’s not illegal to film or trespass, therefore police won’t attend.
I think calling it a bank would be more appropriate because they take so much money from people who they scam.

That was a great comment TLA when you asked the police if they would respond if you rang to complain about people walking dogs outside your house, You filming in public, people walking their dogs - two completely lawful activities. You should put that to police more often because it really highlights the stupidity of them turning out for you when you'd be quickly told by the police phone operator in the very first instance there was no offence by the dog walkers.
At what point do the police talk to the calling party to ascertain that no crime was committed before harassing innocent people in public.

The police should turn up and just say “hello Sir, the reason we have turned up is to speak to you about XXX”. This small talk BS, “what are you up to today, buddy / mate...” is embarrassing. The police cannot do small talk as it’s so obvious they don’t mean it. The nature of the job is a factor, but the small talk is so false and insincere. It may fool some but to the initiated it looks embarrassing.

Maybe you need to design a badge to recognise members of the public killed/died in police custody.
I was thinking about doing precisely that. There is a thin red line flag patch, but that's mainly for firefighters who die in the line of duty, i believe.
I did some research into this and found that about 20 police officers have died while on duty in the last 20 years. When I looked into the number of members of the public who have died while in police custody in the same time frame, it was about 800.
The public is far more at risk from the police than the police are from us.
