Great story and fun game play. 10/10 would recommend giving it a play if you can. It's a little slow starting but it picks up quite nicely.

A few exceptions exist including Hades, Elidibus and The Praetorium but unless it's explicitly stated through dialogue or implied through cutscenes, you're fighting on your own in terms of story while other players are only there for gameplay reasons. Just goes to show how powerful Hydaelyn's protection is. I mean they've fought 13 gods at the same time and won. I feel like that alone should attest to their capability of taking on a single superhuman opponent
You are in luck! The free trial version includes all of the base game and most of the first expansion. You are limited in that you cant message or trade with people directly and some similar things, but you can, in fact, play a good chunk for free
i dont think he has one, with ff14 they refer to the warriors of light who saved the world, but no one can remember what they look like or their names, when they try to remember they just have a silhouette being obscured by a bright light
he's the main character (you) in ff14. He just what they use to show the player in the videos for the games. Like how dragon age had their own character to show the player. He's the player character the creater of ff14 picked to show as the player of the game.
