Many of you have forgotten the morals of the story and are too caught up with human thoughts. One used his intelligence and love to conquer the task given. One used his strength and agility to conquer the task. They eventually ended up both winning and received the blessings. When we all argue over who is right or wrong and how it is interpreted, we lose the knowledge of the message given.
Great service by creating this!!! thanks for share! Hope this witj subtitles or even in spanish would be amazing!! Namaste from México! Hare Krsna!! Jay Ganesh Jay Parvati and Lord Shiva ki jaay!!!!
I agree. I wish that the artists could have shown more pride in our natural skin tones. The story, to me, is the most important thing, not so much the race or origin. But thanks for the comment.
Sveezvi you still have yet to tell us the song at the beginning and ending on the cartoon. Every one has asked and you have not answered that is not right to ignore your viewers
lol i always thought it funny how much a troll Ganesh can be. AN i mean that in a good way. In fact the troll song keeps coming to mind when i hear him talk in this animation.
Shiva (/ˈʃivə/; Sanskrit: शिव, IAST: Śiva, lit. the auspicious one) is one of the principal deities of Hinduism. He is the Supreme Being within Shaivism, one of the major traditions within contemporary Hinduism. Shiva is the "destroyer of evil and the transformer" within the Trimurti, the Hindu trinity that includes Brahma and Vishnu. In Shaivism tradition, Shiva is the Supreme being who creates, protects and transforms the universe. In the goddess tradition of Hinduism called Shaktism, the goddess is described as supreme, yet Shiva is revered along with Vishnu and Brahma. A goddess is stated to be the energy and creative power (Shakti) of each god, with Parvati the equal complementary partner of Shiva. He is one of the five equivalent deities in Panchayatana puja of the Smarta tradition of Hinduism. According to the Shaivism sect, the highest form of Shiva is formless, limitless, transcendent and unchanging absolute Brahman, and the primal Atman (soul, self) of the universe. Shiva has many benevolent and fearsome depictions. In benevolent aspects, he is depicted as an omniscient Yogi who lives an ascetic life on Mount Kailash, as well as a householder - with wife Parvati and his two children, Ganesha and Kartikeya. In his fierce aspects, he is often depicted slaying demons. Shiva is also known as Adiyogi Shiva, regarded as the patron god of yoga, meditation and the arts. The iconographical attributes of Shiva are the serpent around his neck, the adorning crescent moon, the holy river Ganga flowing from his matted hair, the third eye on his forehead, the trishula as his weapon and the damaru. He is usually worshipped in the aniconic form of Lingam. Shiva is a pan-Hindu deity, revered widely by Hindus in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Y'all got this story completely *wrong*. First of all, at the beginning, Lord Ganesh and Lord Murugan (Lord Karthikeya) weren't men, they were boys. Second of all, Lord Naradha came to give the family a "fruit of knowledge" for which both the young boys started to fight over (like every young brothers' squabble). And that's when Lord Shiva poses this challenge of revolving the earth three times. And Lord Ganesh wins the challenge with his knowledge and intellect, and gets the fruit. This *angers* Lord Murugan who comes back from his actual around the world journey. He gets extremely mad at them all and leaves Kailash to go South in a simple undergarment and a stick claiming that he doesn't need anything in the world to prove his might and that he'll create his own land and his own people (The Tamizh people) and stay there. The mountain he chooses to stand at is Pazhani in Tamil Nadu. Pazhani literally means: "pazham" - "fruit" and "Nee" - "you" which translates to "you are the fruit". The Tamizh poet Avvayaar comes to tell him that *he* is the fruit so he doesn't need the fruit of knowledge, trying to console his anger. Finally, after tons of consolation from Lady Parvathi and Lord Shiva himself, Lord Murugan's anger subsides and he agrees to return back to Kailash, but only after establishing the Tamizh way of life here in the South. This is where the saying, "Where ever there's a hill, there's Kumaran (Lord Karthikeya)" comes from. Search for "Palani Malai" in google people. The story I just told you is the primary reason why the Tamizh people in the South were established by Lord Murugan. It's important to do your research before putting your hard efforts into animating something wrong. PS: LORD GANESHA IS OLDER Y'ALL!!!
I am looking for the Episode of Ravana which was telecast-ed with the above episode... I want to have the Panchakshr Stotra , Tandav Stotra and Shimoham which were played in the above cartoon series.. I really request if any one can help me with this... my e-mail id is deepenu@gmail.com ... kindly send me an e-mail if any one has those episodes..
ganesha is elder and Murugan(Karthikeyan) is younger, well story here is only imagination not true story. this story because of mango fruit given by narathar but these brother never fight for marriage. please don't give any wrong information.
Uuhhh...why did they make our Indian Gods look like white people? WHY do we Indians ALWAYS do that? The Aryan Invasion Theory has already been proven false through modern Western and Eastern research (..not to mention our ancient Indian shastras ALREADY prove the antiquity of our heritage being indigenous!). When will us Desi's ever LEARN to value ourselves, our traditions, and our customs??? Shiva-Shiva-Shiva-Shiva-Shiva...
WRONG INFORMATION? The "eldest" son is pure white with a tan, the second son is an elephant. The dad looks humanoid blue. like come on make the kid light blue or shining blue, like they are depicted in many old scripts. Loss of miss information. GANESHA is smart lol.
Nice title song
