Great video! I live in a two floor walk-up(one more to the terrace) have an 8” dob and can totally relate to what it means to haul one up. But the great views more than make up for the hassle. I still remember the first time I saw Omega Centauri . Jaw dropping.
Good video, keep it up. I've been thinking about taking up astronomy. I had no idea that dobsonians were that huge. I've only every seen them in pictures in online stores, but when you put a person next to it, phew!

Yeah and I'd say this is "mid size" I'd say... the 10/12/14/16+ are even huger :)
You can get a collapsible dobsonian which makes the tube about half as long.
