the last actor has pneumothorax, which as they said the same condition Enhypen Sunoo got a surgery for, my poor baby🥲. so there would be a possibility he might get exempted(?)
What I say is controversial, but I think all artists should be exempt from military service. Although, of course, they do get paid, they serve their country by bringing attention ( which translates to money)-and tourists to South Korea. A lot of time and effort goes in to being successful, which is interrupted for a very long 18 months. I think it’s harder for a group, too,to get back together, long - term afterwards, as they are all changing during that time period. The Rose did successfully re-unite, though, but it will be interesting to see if BTS endures long- term when they get back together after their military service.
It’s very interesting to read all of the reasons why exemptions are made! I just want to add to this row: BTS could have been exempted for military service, if they had chosen to, because of their diplomat status. They were already serving their country in that way.
@@misskiddoyubari1923 The video is about excemptions from service. I just added another possibility and example. There’s no judgment as far as I’m concerned.

I knew kim Woo Bin had cancer, and Ahn Hyoseop was a Canada citizen but why im i not surprised of Park Hae Jin due to mental/social reason. When i first seen him in Cheese in a trap, to me his character protrait his real life personality not to mention he is known for been one of the hardest actors to work with.
Please don't tell me you take the information from those very edited and severely misinformed videos. No co star has ever said anything bad about Haejin, he is not difficult to work with at all.
Why? He still has time to serve, is there any official information from him or his agency? If not, then I think he will pretty sure serve as a public worker probably as many other man with some injuries or other health problems.
Korean government is more concerned about sending everyone to army rather increasing its population if people are not there what is the army useful for atleat idols should be allowed to date nd marry so that they also encourage others to marry
But you know that government and Korean law has NOTHING with idols dating and marrying, right? It's the agencies itself. Blame the companies AND fans but mostly fans.
The breadwinner one means he's the only one making money in his family and this he cannot go to military because his family would have no money income anymore. The second one it's because to go to military you must at least have a high school diploma, which he doesn't have.
I know I'm gonna get controversial with this but Park HaeJin and Jo JungSuk exemption reasons feels like Korean Government has some partiality issues. Like Suga of BTS also had mental health issues and had prolong suffered shoulder injury and operation on that. But he wasn't even considered for less serving days let alone exemption when it's clear what BTS has done for South Korea and taking into consideration that they're all Diplomat holders. And about Jo JungSuk, it was recently said in an interview by Park SungHoon (antagonist of Queen of Tears drama) what his parents had to endure when he was serving in the military because he was also the only breadwinner of his family and due to him not earning anymore or earning less, his parents had to eat their food with water to sustain. Why is this government like this? (I'm not blaming the actors here but the government)
About Jo JungSuk probably different times, different person decided then if they will serve or not. About Suga, there is many other idols suffering similar things and still serving. Someone with the same amount of achievement is BIGBANG, I don't even want to rememeber myself how GDragon was treated in military. I do agree that they should change their law a little and allow actually more artists to be exempted, but I think that public opinion has a lot to say here too, so as long as Koreans don't want that it won't change that fast.
Well we have to consider context and time. Park hae jin is diagnosed with clinical depression and social phobia, he was suffering since he was young and going in and out of psychiatric clinics. He received his exemption back in 2004, well before he ever debuted as an actor or gained any significant popularity.

@@AyaHaru0915actually many of SJ members are adviced to do public service because of their injuries but because of pride I guess... however, Heechul, Yesung and Kyuhyun are totally not allowed to do active service, the other members were given options (Leeteuk for example was told to do public service but he said he has to do active service and regretted that decision)... also when SJ started enlisting the rules are quiet different from today...
Kai, Baekhyun and Sehun too had medical problems and injuries but they served/are serving. they are serving in office. If you had problems they don't let them do physical jobs or trainings. It's depend from the gravity I suppose
Kim wo bin
He fought with cancer
Chae Jong Hyeop because he has epilepsy
ok American question the one in video that said because of another country citizenship, does that apply to the two members of stray kids too, if so does that mean while the other 6 members are serving them two can do solo songs? 2nd what does educational reasons mean, can't read, dyslexia, ect?
If you are not a Korean citizen or born in Korea, u don't need to serve in the military. As to education, you need to graduate high school (I believe).
@anil.3899 ty finally someone answered the duble citizenship question 👏🏾👏🏾. I thought that country was strict on education 🤷🏾♀️. See now w/the medical excuses got me honestly noise thinking 😉 was bts suga only excuses was his shoulder surgery he had yeeearrrs back. 🤔
Yes, chan and felix won’t have to serve because they are Australian. They could (theoretically) become citizens of sk and then they’ll have to serve but I doubt either of them will do that as they consider Australia their home.
Shout out to Suga for still serving in some capacity despite his shoulder injury #KING #BOSS

Whoop whoop!💜🫶
@@irlove95 "whoop whoop" or "womp womp" ??
it means his injury is not severe enough to be exempted. what to shout or to be proud about? lol
As an Army, this is not a competition. I don't pray for OT7 or anyone to be too sick to be exempted or be the only breadwinner in their families. I pray for healing to them and strength to overcome their challenges.
Only bread winner🥹
The real reason was that they have served enough in this life
all believe you generation handsone .man here we are oppa
And here's me just thinking how hot Seo In Guk is.
Ahn hyo seop jungwoned for a moment
Hold on. I thought you either have to give up your foreign citizenship and do the military service or your are out…
Nope
Huh? Since when and why? Many idols that are in groups and are either Chinese, Japanese or Thai etc are still working in Korea.
Kim woo bin
Add bang sung hoon
AHN HYI SEOP? HE USE TO BE IN MY SCHOOL… I REMEBER HIS NAME BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT HE DOES NOW… OMG HES FAMOUS NOW???
Rowoon might be, too, since he has back and knee issues.
dong gun so handsome ❤
How can you have social phobia and cope with a celebrity life?
Medication? Mental health problems have their own medications.
I was thinking the same thing..that pic alone proves there's no social phobia 😮
@@latasharoberson9800 The clip in this video is from a recent event last year. He was exempted from the military in 2004, his parents divorced, and he had to live away from his mother, with whom he recently, after 17 years, got reunited. He had depression and many other problems at that time. After that, he got treatment as well.
@@latasharoberson9800You don’t have right to comment on people's mental health. He is still one of the celebrity who rarely seen with big crowds.
For all the ppl who want to just comment on my particular comment when there's other ppl commenting on the same subject that I'm just agreeing with.. GTFOH and second you can't have SOCIAL PHOBIA if you're an actor celebrity and in the public eye all the time .. maybe the word you need to use is social anxiety..and that might be a stretch..it don't make sense to have social phobia and be in the public eye
the last actor has pneumothorax, which as they said the same condition Enhypen Sunoo got a surgery for, my poor baby🥲. so there would be a possibility he might get exempted(?)
Yoo In Ha, maybe he started using drugs for pain from his medical condition. I hope he’s not just a bad druggie. I like his dramas

The Rose did successfully re-unite, though, but it will be interesting to see if BTS endures long- term when they get back together after their military service.
didnt know there is an education requirement tbh
The education requirement I believe is high school, that actor has to drop out to work and support his family
I like jo jung suk reason.
they should have excused taemin
A pneumothorax isn’t a long term thing.
A🤩My😎🎊🎊🎊gooD
It’s very interesting to read all of the reasons why exemptions are made!
I just want to add to this row:
BTS could have been exempted for military service, if they had chosen to, because of their diplomat status. They were already serving their country in that way.
And?
@@misskiddoyubari1923 The video is about excemptions from service. I just added another possibility and example. There’s no judgment as far as I’m concerned.

Wait, even going to National service need education requirement?
atleast high school graduate so he can follow some technicalities.
No tienen pasar por eso ❤
Park Hae Jin is in real wrong profession. ❤️
In some sense but his profession has also enabled him to give back a lot actively participates in a lot of voluntary work, especially with children and was awarded as an honorary firefighter. Apart from acting, he really doesn't appear much in variety shows/interviews.
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
😱😱
Dont want to be mean but im confused he has social phobia and he is working as an actor something is not adding up please lighten things up
He got an exemption when he was much younger before he got treatment and before he debuted as an actor. He is better now but still does not do a lot of public appearances compared to his peers
@@sam6459 ah I see cause thats too ironic you know social phobia who have tendencies of suicide when received critical remarks and yet he works an actor especially in korea where people easily criticize each other, Im glad he is doing well hope he gets over his mental issues
Suga be like "Hold my beer"
Suga svcks. He is a bad rapper 🤦
@@bepositive4470 stop looking for attention dude
He is in social service like a loooot of idols. My god you really think that they are the only humans in Korea
I think Lee Min Ho also deserved exemption 🥹
Didnt meet the education requirement? Weird
Yeah high school is minimum education requirement so I'm guessing he didn't finish high school so he was excempt
yeah I was also curious about that so I did some research, apparently jung woo sung lived in one of the poorest neighborhoods in seoul and dropped out of high school to support his family (education requirement is high school)
What does Seo in guk has? like what kinda condition is that?
I knew kim Woo Bin had cancer, and Ahn Hyoseop was a Canada citizen but why im i not surprised of Park Hae Jin due to mental/social reason. When i first seen him in Cheese in a trap, to me his character protrait his real life personality not to mention he is known for been one of the hardest actors to work with.
Please don't tell me you take the information from those very edited and severely misinformed videos. No co star has ever said anything bad about Haejin, he is not difficult to work with at all.
Can someone pls explain Jo Jung Suk's condition
His father passed when he was younger, he is the only male financial provider for the family hence why he gets an exemption.
Add Rowoon
What happen to him? He is an actor i like
@@hongshi2698Slipped disc
Why? He still has time to serve, is there any official information from him or his agency? If not, then I think he will pretty sure serve as a public worker probably as many other man with some injuries or other health problems.
Rowoon to right? Because his back?
He will probably serve as a social worker or sth like that i think.
Blame the companies AND fans but mostly fans.
...ok...but...Bread winner...🤔what that mean.🤨.and also didn't meet educational requirements....what are those🧐
The breadwinner one means he's the only one making money in his family and this he cannot go to military because his family would have no money income anymore. The second one it's because to go to military you must at least have a high school diploma, which he doesn't have.
Wow I was excited for this list but its terrible... beautiful ppl having so many bas shit in their lives, so sad
And there goes Suga despite the shoulder injury he's dealing with for many years, chooses to serve the country. ❤❤❤
His injury was minor. Stop the drama
Suga shoulder heal 3 year ago.
He didn't choose, HE WAS GIVEN.
And? A lot of injured idols are serving in social works
@@RosselliniqueSomeone with the same amount of achievement? U mean BTS and BB achievements are same?
Dont disrespect BTS like that💀
Well we have to consider context and time. Park hae jin is diagnosed with clinical depression and social phobia, he was suffering since he was young and going in and out of psychiatric clinics. He received his exemption back in 2004, well before he ever debuted as an actor or gained any significant popularity.
