As someone who religiously watches Bailey, this collection is very much her. She is one of the only people I've seen that can pull off a full grunge look so the color choices make sense for her. Of course, it's not going to be for everyone but you pulled it off really well. The smokey/grunginess makes your eyes really pop!!
I love Bailey and I totally agree! This collection is very her. Also I know it's not a color story for me personally but I can still appreciate it on others
I think it's totally on brand for Bailey and her makeup style. I actually really love the tones of the palette overall.
i expected a bit more color because she's always doing colorful looks, but the grunge makes sense.
Bailey said the light lippie is to mix in if you want to lighten the others. Edit to say I want to pick up the glitters and lippies if they restock. The eyeshadow palette is beautiful but I never wear all matte looks, I would smear my body in shimmer if it was socially acceptable so…😂
Came to say the same thing about the lipsticks
If I remember correctly that Olay Quench body lotion was quite shimmery; I'd say acceptable. haha. I just hated the smell of it.
We should make it socially acceptable. I mix old highlighter with my lotion so that I can sparkle like a vampire at all times 😂😂😂
These dark terra cotta lippie colors are gorgeooouuusss 😍 I'll have to recreate the here at home!
i almost never do matte looks either, but this palette is a great opportunity to give my special single multichromes and stuff a moment too
Ooh!! I love dark pallets!! If you have dark skin...buy the pallet that lighter skin tones say its dark or too dark. At this point I don't look for color stories as much. The darker the better.

Indeed! The more pigmented the better. I didn't even buy pastel eyeshadows until I found a couple brands that don't look like chalk on me 😂

I think the light lippie is probably intended to apply to a darker lip look in the center to give an ombre lip. Bailey does it frequently.

Honestly the look you created made me want the palette even more. I love how deep and grungy melt mattes are, but I wear looks like the this one on the daily. Palettes not having light shades doesn't bother me, I actually prefer they go dark. But that's just my personal preference. I will say the shadows going on darker than they look in pan is always a bummer (same for ones that go on lighter) so them not being true to pan isnt great. But I've had that issue with other melt palettes so it doesn't surprise me.
It’s weird how it takes a palette like this to make me realize how much you actually love and utilize lighter shades. 😊 These are very dark but I still love the look you did regardless of the fact that those dark colors refused to blend! ♥️
I have watched Bailey for YEARS. A recent video explained the light liquid lip and lighter lipsticks… she does a lot of ombré lips and that’s the purpose of the light lippie. This collection is spot on for her and I LOVE it.
I personally think you made a great look! For me personally, the glitters in the glitter gel are waaaayy too big for my liking but I absolutely love them on you and I think they are pretty timely given the holiday party season has just started
I agree, I think it looks like craft glitter. Like something that should be used for a costume. Angie did well with it though!

I’m so tempted by this palette, but I wish it had a pumpkiny orange shade. Thallium is too warm, reddish browny than the type of orange that I was hoping for before seeing swatches.

Melt *almost* had me with this collection but I had to ask myself if this brought value to my current collection. While I LOVE the color story, I already have these colors in formulas I like (I’m no makeup artist and I really struggle with making Melt NOT look like a patchy unblended mess on me. User error I’m sure). Like you mentioned, without the lighter accent shades, this doesn’t pull me enough to throw caution out of the window.
I can support Bailey by continuing to watch her videos and I hope this collection is a huge success for both her and Melt.

Omg.... You created a freaking stunning look!!! That palette looks like a LOT of work but you made it worth it for this look. It also looks like this palette could easily look bruise like with grungy, deeply pigmented shadows and no lighter colors.

I don’t normally set my eyeshadow primer but I always do with Melt eyeshadows, it makes for a smoother blend and makes the eyeshadows more on the buildable side. I bought the palette because I love Melt and I just might recreate your lovely look!

FYI: The liquid lippies were developed to be blended and mixed, so if you think the nice one is too light or 1990’s you can blend it with the others to make your own custom color.

I have a small z-palette filled with light mattes and shimmers that I use everything I do my eyes. It never bothers me when palettes don't have light shades. Rarely do I only use a single palette. I got this one yesterday and think it would make a great companion to ND Yucca or Juvias Place The Nomad palettes.
I like the collection and the glitters look beautiful. But my fair skin wouldn't warrant a whole dark palette. I apprecciate the grungy looks on others though :)

YESSSSS...a dark palette not afraid to go against the usual trends. Shimmer who...and do grunge looks even care for inner corner highlights, idk?? I love Bailey, I love grunge, I love that all of the shades can be utilized by darker people!! I understand that Melt formulas can be tricky...but I loved even my Subculture palette so this one should b okay! For my liking though, I prefer maroons, purples and midnight tones for grunge so this palette leans a bit too warm for me. I might still buy this to support her!! This collection is just her. ❤🎉

I would consider this more of a pressed pigment palette than an eyeshadow palette so I can see how some would have trouble with it. I really like the color story and am using more tapping motions when blending than swiping back and forth. Also it helps to use a more skin tone shade to blend those edges but that will vary person to person. The lipsticks are gorgeous too ✨

I 100% agree. Love a dark grunge look but I can't wear that for work. I like that the look is not flawless. Fits the grunge esthetics perfectly.

I really loooooove Bailey ❤❤ and yeah it's very dark I would mix it with something too but it's very Bailey... that's mostly what she does is dark smoky looks so it makes sense for her fs

YEEESS!! They last so well and are not uncomfortable or drying in the long run as liquid lipsticks can be.

I love how deep and pigmented this color story is, I never feel sad about not having lighter shades in a palette, especially because if it comes to it, I can reach for another palette or use setting powder to blend. I was interested in the palette but I feel very icky about the Charles Manson reference in the Bailey eye insert (formerly obsessed with true crime)

Despite having issues with the palette, you pulled off a fabulous look ... really stunning. I'm too old to wear those colors. I need lighter colors to brighten up my face, so I haven't purchased any of the Melt palettes.
The look is lovely from a distance (one of your recent uploads was this look and the sparkle was intense). I guess the palette could be a deep companion palette (a matt version of an all shimmer palette 😆). Definitely not my journey, but great for deep colour lovers 🥰

I love this look on you! It very dark and dramatic but it makes your eyes pop. I am sure you could get a greener look with the glitter but it looks like it has a sheer base.
