I am Ghanaian this son took me back to Nigeria and Biafra way. Every mid night I will put our radio to a Nigeria station and they will play Rex Lawson and other hilife music after that they will make a statement like this "To keep Nigeria one is a task that must be done".
Thanks for.tbis video about Rex Lawson He is indeed king of highlife songs Very relaxing and uplifting I am from abonnema and speak the same language as Rex His wrote very meaningful lerics I'm sure his music will live forever Present generation have not seen a better artist He was very talented My father was one of his number one fans He played Rex Lawson's records all the time Growing up as a child i was familiar with most of his records I will always want to think about him as a legend Thought his music makes me feel all nostalgic God bless 👼
Thanking you all, warmly for organising this webinar on Cardinal Rex Jim Lawson, particularly, professor Akanji Nasiru, Papa Tony Odile and others, who made it a success. The webinar, came in at the right time, it's really touching and inspiring thoughts.
It is dishonest on the part of the speaker to suggest Cardinal Rex Lawson pretended to love Biafra. It must be remembered that Biafra was an old Eastern Nigeria project which Lawson and every other Easterner believed in. Rex Lawson was an Easterner to the core, had an Igbo mother, spoke impeccable Igbo and spent quality time at Onitsha playing at various places including the famous Dolphin Cafe. The webinar is most welcome but Lawson's ideology should not be embellished, please.
These men instead of playing Rex music theses men were busy speaking big English. Very typical of Nigeria. This why the country is not progressing. We only speak big but can't make a nail. Meanwhile oyinbo speak common English yet they succeed in technology
The best music ever

The presentation was inaccurate. (The presenter is another fulani stooge)
Great event... I congratulate the organizers. But why end the program with an ariya style band, instead of giving us someone to play Rex Lawson tune.
