i wish I had put some tomatoes in a box, wrapped in newspaper. I could use a tomato, lettuce, baloney and onion...on the heel slice of homemade bread. right now. Did you keep the tomatoes at room temperature? I froze some red tomatoes last summer and they saved well, but they are too mushy for sandwiches. Blessings.
