He is! He may not be the flashiest drummer ever, but that doesn't matter at all: he hits HARD as fuck, and I have NEVER heard him make any mistakes live. He's just absurdly solid
He was there! This looks like the online-live show they did back in April. I had to drive halfway up a mountain in Wales to get enough signal to sign in so I missed the first 15 minutes. Good show though!
Listened to this about 20 times tonight. Out of the gazillions of great tunes from them, this has to be up there in their top echelons of great tunes. Always will be one of the best bands i have ever heard, and will ever hear! And that chorus is more infectious the more times i hear it! Fucking ace or what!!!
This 'lockdown gig' was so Ingloriously needed at a difficult time. Just wished the camera wasn't shoved right up their noses all the time, kinda made me feel like I was invading the stage and their personal space. The camera should've been from the audience's POV. Either way, keep it up boys, can't wait for the Wolves gig!!!
Just sat down with the new album and listen to it back to front, three times in a row. All I can say is "Riff After Riff After Motherfucking Riff!" They keep getting better with age. Thank you, boys!
@@williamswarwick6228 Hello. I'm from Colorado Springs, CO. I've been a massive fan since 1993, courtesy of James Dean Bradfield (Manics). in a Kerrang interview he was asked what his favorite album was in 1993. He namechecked Earth vs. and I've been a massive fan since.
is there such thing as too good? I think we know....too melodic for the mmettttal purists, tooooo mmmmmetal for the glammists even tho so many melodies come from their unashamed love of Queen, The Sweet, Starz, Slade and Bay City Rollers influences, and even progginess that shows an obvious knowledge of Yes and Genesis. Basically, the Willdhearts (to me) bridge the gaps between so many types of music I like, but slice off the bits of those types that I don't like and stick things unexpected and even better than the amputated bits in place of them. (waves The Wildhearts "darling cripple doll long sleeve t shirt" from 1995? in defiance....of....what have you got? )
Ritch Battersby is one of the finest drummers around. He doesn’t get half the credit he deserves.

Hands down the best rock band in the world !!
One of my favourite tunes. I LOVE that Ginger sings in his Geordie accent now. The past two albums have well been my favourites 🤟
So glad they're are still at it. I remember listening to Earth V's for the first time in the early 90's.
Awesome!! Best band ever !! Btw, where's Danny????

Think the folk at Stabal had seen the Word from back in the day and thought this was how 90's bands liked to be filmed.
Where Danny?
🤘🤘🤘
This is the bollox , see you in Brighton next week 👊
And the age old question..... Where's Danny? Especially since the bass is filthy.
He was there but couldn't play the new stuff.....
Bas player?
Where's Danny?

Finally I can share this with my tone deaf friends. Prefer this to the studio version!
