How did you sort it out? Have the same problem with my Hellcat. Actually, when I look it from above, I can see clearly like a thin line or stripe at the right side of front and rear sights.
I was going to buy this sight pusher until I read the list of pistols that the Real Avid sight pusher will not work on. I have quite a few Springfield XDs and newer Sigs that this sight pusher will not work on. Everyone should make sure that any sight pusher that they may buy will work on the pistol/s that they need to drift or replace the sights on
Wish i just had a sight that could be adjusted with a flathead like my wifes walther ppq m2 q4 tac, but she is a gunsmith and has a sight pusher, the problem is that its not compatible with my beretta 92x or my hk vp9 which are my main carries
To move your point of impact to the right, push your rear sight to the right. To move your POI to the left, push your rear sight to the left. The opposite is true if you adjust the front sight. Front sight right moves the POI to the left. Front sight left moves the POI to the right.
Depends whether you're drifting the front or rear sight. if it's hitting left of point of aim, drift the front sight left. If moving rear sight, as he is depicting here, drift it right to bring impact to the right.
The rule is move the sight in the direction you want to move the impact. Just did that this morning. Was shooting right of center. Moved the sight (adjustable) to the left a smidge and brought the impact left to the center. A centered sight is a good place to start but doesn’t mean the impact will be centered. Too many human factors involved and the sight system may be less than perfect.
@@nomansland4811 No, that does not work. If the bullet lands to the left, you move the slide to the right so that the rear sight and front sight are now angled to the left where the bullet landed. Then its zero'd ish .... If you move the rear slide to the left where it landed, you now shifted the angle of fire more to the right and now you have to turn your gun to the left and now your bullet is going MORE to the left and in the wrong direction.
Exactly what brought me to this channel is my hellcat sights are specifically my front sight is off to the left,

Will it remove stubborn front sight on shield 9 mm.Can't punch it out?
Would make a lot of sense to be able to do this while the slide is ON the gun
What if you have one like mine that shooting too high? How can I raise the sight so it shoots lower?
How do you compute how far to move the sight? Is there a mathematical formula to figure that out or is it just adjust till it's right?
Was not even aware that Realavid had come out with this product. Seems like a great product for the price.

Can i remove a front sight of a springifield armory hellcat? Or its just for alignment??
You are great but I'm not sure which way to push the rear sight to make the shots go r or l.
Iraqveteran8888 has a video on it very easy to follow

Will this work on a Springfield Armory EMP4 ....1911 Style ?
How to adjust rear site on DB .380
what the cost i seen one for 250.00.
Thank you sir for this useful video
My pistol is hitting about 2 inches left. What direction do I move the rear sight to correct poi ?
Left
Pretty sure you move it to the right but what do I know
Front sights you follow your impacts and rear you do the opposite
move the slide to the right
Move to the right.
Could you use it ti install nigh sights.
Absolutely. We've used it several times to install TRUGLO, XS, and Rival Arms tritium sights.
if the gun is shooting to the left - you move the sites to the right?

Yes … move the rear so the sight lines up to where your round landed
That tool can be use on Glocks?
Yes.
But you didn't mention WHEN you adjust the rear sight to the LEFT or RIGHT !
Just make sure the rear sight is perfectly centered. You should be able to tell which way to go just by looking at it
