Thanks so much for watching my second video! 💗 How did I do? I'm still learning, so I'm always so happy and grateful to hear any feedback you might have! Talking on a mic is still really scary (I knoooow, I'm a coward!) but the only way is up! I'm optimistic! 😊
This was so much fun and I would 100% read your story, hoping for a happy romantic ending. I love this technique and can’t wait to try it for a short story soon!
This was so fun and creative. I appreciate your lightheartedness and whimsy as you brainstormed. It’s so easy for me to get into my head , get wildly serious around story craft. So thanks for the reminder to have fun. ❤️ Would love to read this in story form, btw.
Thank you so much for such a kind comment! That's very relatable to me too - I can get trapped in my head sometimes and overthink, when really the brainstorming process can be so fun when I just let go and allow space for silliness! Thanks again :)
My questions to you (feel free to make a new comment for better visibility): 1. What changes would you make to my story idea? 2. How would you end it? 3. Did you get a different idea from that painting? 4. Were you as mortified as I was at the reveal? 😬 5. Which painting (if any) should I do next?
I love your story idea! My initial reaction was a small town murder mystery sort of thing, where the boy is washes up on the shore and the man tries to save him but fails, and so he is the prime suspect because his DNA is on the body.
sure, I could answer some! 1. I would add in some twists and some sweet sweets angst. 2. I would end it with the prince either leaving their title as a noble merman or bless the fisherman luck for fishing. 3. Well, I did. I first analyzed it as two friends who tried to save eachother in the risky winds and harsh waters, eventually tumbling down into fate could tell us. 4. Definitely! 5. I'm not sure, but you can brainstorm anything pretty much, I'm not a really an artist or a person who researches art, haha
This is amazing! I love this video because so many others just say "take inspiration from our real life", which is so broad and confusing. I love that this is straight to the point, and gives an example of how to do it. Tysm!
So cool!! This video will help me so much. I really like your videos, they are really worked and help me in many of my novellas. Can't wait to see the next ones!
I loved everything about this video!! Such a great way to get inspired and get more writing ideas, I would love to see more videos like this. Well done!
Omg I heard you from Spotify and I just want to say how helpful your advice is! Thank you so much. I really love your example about the fisherman x merman. So imaginative!❤🥰
It would be so fun to go to an art gallery and do this, but if that's not accessible then I recommend artvee(dot)com or even Pinterest. A lot of big galleries also have websites like the National Gallery here in the UK! It's pretty cool, they have a section called Picture of the Month, but you can also browse other paintings too!

This is a great video! I really liked it. And that you guessed "wrong" is only testament to how vivid our imagination can be.
That's such a beautiful way of looking at it! Thanks so much for the comment :)

How can I find such paintings? As in, what do I have to type to search them on the internet?

@@theschoolofplot Thanks! I really found this helpful (≡^∇^≡)
I really love your visuals and voice so much! Do you draw all your icons yourself?
Thank you so much! I wish I was that talented but they're all clipart from Canva which I then colourise to match my sad beige aesthetic >:)
@@theschoolofplot Haha, I love your aesthetic, not sad at all in my opinion :) Thanks!
When is the new episode coming out?
It’s out! 🤍
