Just stumbled across your video. Many thanks, we need to get a new driveway put in, it's not nearly as big as this driveway however, it's big enough. You have given us plenty of ideas on how to incorp a few different hard landscaping materials together and showing how to lay this Gravel Grid System. Well done on showing the mistake easy done when you are thinking about multiple different things 👍🏻
Thanks Maria

@brickrightbuildinglandscaping 100% Justin, you're a good team and we still need a bit of humour in work or they would be long days.
@@peterwilson5082 👍👊💯

I’ve got a extra long ratchet strap I use for strapping diggers in low loaders il send it over for Brad as a belt 😂

😂😂I need to get may mate them boxers lol. It's a lovely job we all make the odd cook up lol. But that job is looking realy good it's a massive job 👍👍👍👍
It happens to the best of us Mark doesn't it.
Yes its a big big job this one .Appreciate you saying that means a lot coming from you mate.
Awra best for the new week
Justin 👍
@@brickrightbuildinglandscaping hopefully it won't rain too much for us hay lol 👍👍👍👍
i believe the best way is to dig out enough dirt to place used tires down, but also cut the sidewalls on each side of the tire out then dump the gravel down, the tires will keep all the gravel in place, use cement blocks as borders all around. you will never ever get any pot holes and will last forever or until you dig up the gravel and tires.. it is so strong as well that you could driver an 18 wheeler over it with no problesm...just my 2 cents.. your job looks great thought...you will never get any rain water build up because the water will seep through with no problem as well..
Thanks for the tips 👍🙌👌
This looks great, can I ask what stones and edging were used pls? Was the stone 20mm? Thanks
Thanks appreciate it.The client got the stone think they were called york stone.
Edging was drivesys cobbles from marshalls 👍👊
Hi, great information (even the wrong bits). Can you tell me the amount of gravel required per square metre please?
About 0.14 per metre square at about 70mm thick
Looks very nice good work boys i was going do that with my drive and i do same has you boys did put it wrong way round hahhahaah coming on now tho top class
We all make mistakes Danny its how you rectify it that matters .
Appreciate all your positive comments and support.
Justin 👍 👍
@@brickrightbuildinglandscaping sure do mate thats how we learn have a good week
@@dannyhogi4953 same to you Danny 👍
Looks the dogs mate very nice
Thanks from one Haines to another 👍 thanks Nigel 👍
Do you reckon once there's gravel in those grids, they'll be safe enough for a motorcycle to ride on without slipping on any exposed top edges?
Yes ive been back to the job months later and i think it's brilliant how it hasn't moved 👍👌
Great video! We have a similar size driveway. How much would a job like this cost?
Sorry Richard im unable to disclose the price due to customer confidentiality. Get some prices off local companies good luck .
Justin 👍
Nice job that👏how much are the gravel grids per m2
Thanks Mark
Google ibran driveway grids for the latest price .Or is it ibram one of em 👍
I've done quite a few of these now. Stihl saw with a diamond blade is far easier to cut than a recip saw.
Hi Mike
Thanks for the advice yea we have done that ourselves. We knackered a makita mini disc cutter up all the plastic from drainage went in the motor a fried it didn't want to fry the sthil saw. Have you had any issue with the melted plastic on the blade or saw causing damage.?
Thanks mike
Justin 👍👍🙂
@@brickrightbuildinglandscaping no, no problems at all. The plastic melts a touch where you cut through. Absolutely non sticks to the blade plus it's quicker and more accurate for radius cuts.
@@mikejames4271 top man thanks for the info appreciate it mike 👍
I like the colour of the gravel stones, what's the colour or name of it? Thanks
and size of the stones?
Thanks think it was yorkstone and about 18-20 mm 👍
If you weren't looking at Brad's crack you might have not put in all that stuff upside down don't blame Brad 14:51
🤣🤣🤣 brilliant and very true Jeff 🤣🤣👍🙌
It is good that you have shown the mistake you made as we all do. In saying that you should not have done the job in not knowing what you were doing in the first place.
Thanks Rob.
We new what we were doing just got ahead of ourselves that day .we are human after all.
If i dont no how to do anything i dont do it mate 👍
Can you put it down on 806 rock.
Not sure what 806 is sorry billy
Sorry I meant 804
@@billyflanagan9657 dont no what 804 is Billy. Are you in another country
@brickrightbuildinglandscaping Yes I am in Ireland it's just a drainage rock we put down for a base to level the ground and then we will install the grates 🙂
It's basically just crushed stone
Welsh Indiana jones 😂😂👍🏼 sackable offence Justin 🙈
Welsh indiana jones 🤣🤣🤣👍 brilliant Jimmy 👍🤣
Brad you need to give justin more stick
I get my fair share dont you worry what goes around comes around 🤣🤣👍
You EAT Tea???? 😮
🤣🤣👍
Plenty of gravel to fill that builders crack!!
🤣🤣🤣 excellent Malcolm 🤣🤣👍
@@brickrightbuildinglandscaping or some duct tape
@@malcolmbale9566 🤣🤣 need a lot of tape malcolm 🤣🤣👍
Haha they should address builders bum in health and safety most dangerous thing on job, I wear under armour ones no crack 😏
🤣🤣🤣 good tip got to have some fun haven't you 🤣👍
I chose not to.put down plastic because its for a dog kennel and want the urine to.drain into the soil.
You could have chosen a permeable membrane, that would have let any liquids drain through it
@ThePaulg123 good idea thank you 🙂
@@billyflanagan9657 no problem, I've learnt a lot myself as I've gone along from not knowing anything
Why is the music so loud, was watching with headphones but gave up having been deafened 🤢
Sorry about that we do our best but a lot to learn.hope it hasn't spoilt it to much for you.
Justin 👍
People make mistakes, arseholes make excuses.
