When I open my email preferences/ signatures, the right margin has migrated way across to the right, and when I try to click & drag it back, so that the whole page is visible, it won't stick. so I have to scroll way over to see the signature I've uploaded, and that has caused the emails I'm composing to do the same thing - the margin's are way to broad, so you can't view the whole email on the screen without scrolling... a lot!! Please advise if you can.... Thanks in advance.
My email signature looks fine when I send it, but the images are broken when composing a message. Here are the changes I've made - 1. I've got everything under Mail Preferences > Privacy unchecked. 2. I've unchecked "Always match my default message font" under Mail Preferences > Signatures. 3. I've marked the Message Format as "Rich Text" under Mail Preferences > Composing. Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated. 👍
Hi Chad, Thanks for your message. For macOS 12 Monterey and above: Mail > Preferences > Privacy tab > Ensure that Protect Mail Activity is ticked. If Protect Mail Activity is not ticked, ensure Block All Remote Content is not ticked as well. Perhaps, you could try ticking the Protect Mail Activity to see if that helps? It's odd that the images arent loaded when composing a message but are visible when you send the email. There must be something in Apple mail blocking the download of images when composing.
my image signature its moving always on top, I want it on the side, whats the problem here? its happening in writing or when i go to signature settings always pops up on top
Thanks so much for the guide!
Very useful, thank you. Now please do the same video but for iOS!
Thank you! Very helpful!
Thanks, a life saver.

did you ever figure this out?? this is the same problem I am having!
How to rescale an image? cus even if I create a small file, Mail always imports it in the same size and I can't rescale.
please, help!
Hi Peter, you can rescale an image using tools like Photoshop or any image editing software. This will make the image smaller in dimensions.
