Tracking the Tropics: Another threat in the Caribbean and Gulf in late September

While there is a slight chance of hitting the 90s again before September 30, the weather pattern that could facilitate this may also bring a significant tropical cyclone, whether a tropical storm or hurricane, to the Gulf of Mexico between the 25th and the 30th.
It is far too early to know exactly when and where a storm like that would make landfall, so if you have beach plans between September 25 and October 5, you will want to pay attention to the forecast on the Gulf Coast.
