  • Armies march, bombs rain down and missiles fly in this nuclear thriller that eerily predicted recent events years before they happened. NOTE to UA-cam: This film was written, produced and directed by Andrew Strom - which is why it is now on this channel.
This is the Director's Cut of WORLD WAR 4 - which is the second movie by director A.K. Strom (shot in New Zealand for a very low budget of $2000 USD - the same as his first film).

Nothing should frighten anyone more than our own governments belief that they can survive a nuclear war, and yet they're trying to force everyone into believing climate change will destroy us all. With that said do you think they care about anyone other than themselves?

You mean a complete guess with an arbitrary percentage you can't substantiate?
According to the doomsday clock of the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, we're at 90 seconds to midnight, which in itself is a pretty rough and inconclusive guess. In reality there are no feasible plans held by any nation to deal with the consequences of nuclear war and despite sabre-rattling amongst nuclear capable nations, they are all absolutely scared shitless of it's reality. Everyone loses, bar none, and they are all extremely cognizant of this fact.

Thank God, there are multiple chains of command in control of the nukes. No, it's not a button. It's a series of convoluted switches, keys, outdated closed networks, codes and dummy codes.

Ever since the onset of the nuclear age, all participants maintained a growing realisation that there are not only losers in a nuclear exchange, but on a scale undreamed of throughout history. WW1-2 and every other historical conflict combined would have looked like a cheeky spat in comparison. Having nuclear weapons is akin to two enemies in the same porta-potty threatening to throw grenades at each other.

I was a young airman stationed in the UK when POTUS Kennedy was killed. There were several F100 aircraft loaded with nukes. When the alarms sounded off, we ran as fast as we could to get those jets ready for flight. Removing all covers and pins that were required when the aircraft was on stand-by status. We assisted the pilots to get ready for flight. I was only 19 years old and trembled with fear. Everything was done according to our training. We waited one hour for these jets to taxi to the runway for take off. I was so relieved when we all got the word, it was only an exercise. The engines were shut down. The pilots got out of the jets. We put the pins and covers back on them and topped off the fuel tanks. We were transported back to the crew chief’s waiting area with a sigh of relief. I’m 79 years old now, but it was something I’ll never forget.

First off ? I'm a 66 year old guy. Never serving in the U. S. Military but was an EMT ? And after was a volunteer firefighter. I respect and appreciate all those both men and women who serve and have. Seeing events that this fictional film presents is definitely eye opening to what could really happen. Especially? Now in 2023/24. The tensions in almost every corner of the globe is sickening to say the least. If? A full blown nuclear scale war was to take place? So so many will perish in such a conflict and that's not just in the initial state of events. But also in the years that would follow such an event in my view. Agriculture as we know today would be a much different event not to mention the medicine supply and it's long term supply chain of manufacturing stocking up on supplies for such a massive event in my view? Would only go so far. Let's not forget the equipment and machinery needed to rebuild the facilities to rebuild so many things and infrastructure as well. There is more to a nuke type war than destruction at first strikes much much more. I pray we humans on this marble planet in the universe never have to endure such destruction to the global race.

Don't worry! It's mostly a distraction based on pre-laser-guided nuclear war. Laser-guided systems are why we haven't gone into nuclear war yet. Every nuclear war fear monger leaves out this fact. Also, that nuclear war has gone underground too. Thermobaric nukes allow for nukes to penetrate DUMB facilities to knock out defense commands without needing to blow up large areas to do that. Nuclear War is now winnable and very precision based and doesn't need to kill whole cities and thus the planet to do that anymore with bigger and bigger bombs. All-Out Nuclear War is also out dated too. Instead of needing nukes to destroy incoming nukes microwave lasers can do that now. Thank you Star Wars Program and GPS in the 80's for that.

As a veteran who landed on D-Day at Omaha Beach I can say this is the most realistic war film ever! From the attention to detail on military facial hair standards, correct placement of patches and rank (if they have any at all), and all the correct firearms carried by the actors, it is just like being back in Nam again. The firefights and air strikes look just like the news footage I watched back in the day during Desert Storm. The dialog, particularly the radio traffic by Lieutenant Jones, is just like I heard during the invasion of Grenada.
Spielberg and George Lucas need to watch out, their legacies will quickly become irrelevant after people see this work. I remember the first time I saw Star Wars, just before I was in the raid to save the hostages from the Iranian embassy in 79. Now I'll just remember World War 4 while I fight on the front lines in Ukraine.
The body language between Lieutenant Jones and his wife... you couldn't convince me they aren't happily married in real life. No one can act like a married couple like in this movie unless they truly were married, it is so convincing. Reminds me of my lieutenant back in the Korean War and his wife.
I can't wait for the sequel to this movie, World War 5. It is going to be epic.

36:55 ... how ironic that F-16 Fighting Falcon's are flying over Ukraine in this 2019 movie production, and now Ukrainians are flying them in 2024 over their Airspace against Russia. Ironic! 🤔

Nice footage but an impossible scenario. We would never land troops in NK unless they did a full scale invasion on the south first. We also didn't defend Ukraine, so we wouldn't shoot down Russian jets overflying Ukraine. Maybe in the future if we ever allow Ukraine to join NATO, we might shoot down a jet but unlikely.

The name of this thing is "movies". Not necessarily a real scenario. You say: "we would never land troops in NK", but who could imagine that US would land troops in France? Or Italy? Furthermore: US landed troops in SK during that war.

None of those procedures ultimately matter, bottom line is how quickly it spirals into nuclear war. I don't think they drive that into soldiers heads enough these days. But the worst part is the politicians, that seem like complete morons to me.

Agreed except for allowing the Ukraine to join NATO. That's like begging Russia to go to war with us. The Ukraine is a recent democracy with a corrupt government before Russia attacked it. Also, the Ukraine has been part of Russia, on and off, for centuries. Someone with brains needs to do hard negotiating with Russia but we should stay out of their war except for humanitarian purposes.

I've watched this movie a few times now and still have some questions. For instance, who is "the man in ted" supposed to be? Also, as a former member of the Army, I picked up on what the movie was trying to portray, but why does the Navy don PPE to launch an SLBM?

Fantastic camera settings, really awesome to watch the esthetic of classical war scenes. This really drew me in. The simple storyline steps back here, which is not so important, as the open mind observes the truth behind today's desinformation by politics and media anyways.

It was a detailed story compellingly told, though I cannot think of any scenario that would prompt a US invasion of North Korea. However, engaged as a pure fantasy, it's fine entertainment and well worth a watch. The sweeping vistas of military deployment lend it an appearance of megabuck production, belaying its modest budget. Many thanks for sharing...

@@briankistner4331 With the USA so recently getting their butts kicked out of Kabul, I don't think the Biden regime will be in any hurry to put boots on the ground in Ukraine - especially with a presidential election looming. And Trump is committed to a negotiated settlement. I suspect Putin will hold out for a regime change in the USA. Taiwan, however, seems a much more plausible candidate. The CCP have openly advertised their designs upon the island, and with everything falling apart at home, they may try the well-worn ploy of using invasion as a political and social distraction from domestic woes. Just as in the movie, the USA has a lot of naval assets in the South China Sea...

Well made movie. Very realistic. Creepy concept. Thanks for the share.
Before any of these kind of movies or events ever have or possibly could come to life, troubles in the world have been predicted, prophesied long before through the scriptures in the bible. These are just two of the things mentioned in the scriptures which clearly depicted a reaction or forewarning of the condition of things or what action would be taken against the things to come.
'He (God) established the earth and did not create it as a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited'-Isaiah 45:18.
