Ok, I decided. I will beat Sonic Wave on 60hz with this mashup (No joking). Here I'll write my progress down (As of 1st May 2024): I BEAT IT. It took me 2 years, over 100k attempts, and a crazy amount of pain and suffering, but I actually beat it. If there's something that I've learnt from this stupid grind is that anything is possible if you choose to believe. When I started playing this level I was trash at the game, with my hardest being acropolis. And I decided that I would set this as my ultimate 60hz achievement. Here you go, 2 years later I beat something that on 60hz is comparable to beating Tartarus on 360fps. NEVER FUCKING GIVE UP. gg
Not only they perfectly fit each other, this mashup syncs with this level flawlessly, like all three things were made for each other. I think this must be literally the best mashup I have ever heard in my entire life.
Even though I don’t have much interest in K-Pop, pulling out something that everyone would enjoy it (Gangnam Style) and mashing up with something overrated in the game (Sonic Wave) kinda saves the overrated :O btw the buildup in 1:32 ~ 1:47 was sick and interesting that I already fell into the vibe 😎
Gangnam style is so fitting with sonic wave. It’s like mashuping MDK’s music: the emotion is the same and even song structure! This was deserved to be seen by F-777!!! 🎉
