I followed this band since early 2000s. They definitely improved in music technicality in their respective instruments. The band is solid with all 5 members still intact. Guren means Uterus or something like that... hence it’s symbolized by the red room with a small child in a red dress.. painting the room in white.. white means death in some Asian cultures. It might be about abortion or miscarriage most likely. Whichever the reason.. it talks about the pain of a parent when they lose their unborn child. When you grasped the meaning of the song.. it’s never the same the second time you hear it. I loved that about the Gazette. Here’s part of the lyric translation towards the end of the song. “I don't want you to fade I want to hear, even a sigh. Little rhythm to the sound of the heartbeat Of touched prayers delivered. The name which I cannot call out I held closely Counting with my fingers, I don't want tomorrow to disappear. Hearing with blocked ears The sound of a broken cradle. The spring time will never come again The crimson lotus is in bloom”
In Japan red is a color of love and happiness, but white is a color of mourning, so in this video painting on white means the end of happiness and mourning, it's sad song like almost all The Gazette songs... I think that this little girl is a symbol of young, short love and this love died. Btw, they have amazing lyrics, so you must read some translations. ;)
Gazetto getting more and more reaction videos. Thank you! Next please react to "Miseinen" from the band's 10th Anniversary concert in 2012 called DECADE: ua-cam.com/video/1lucZuzxTlk/v-deo.html It's one of my personal favorites and essentially began my love for this band. I'd recommend watching the original MV as well but this has to be my favorite version. Unlike Guren, Miseinen is a faster song more atoned to their pop-punk sound from their earlier days. Please check it out and give us your thoughts on it =)
Would u like to make a reaction for their MV Taion, please? It's based on real story of Furuta Junko's murder FYI. Thank you~~~ ooh n thx for making some of BB reaction videos. I enjoy all of them :)
Thank you for reacting to the Gazette :) Would you consider reacting to the song "Silent Knight" by Versailles? ua-cam.com/video/CGKmeZ2kWko/v-deo.html They are a symphonic metal band from Japan. "Silent Knight" is an instrumental piece (but they have a fantastic singer, too) Have a good day!
