Would like to have heard your summary of the overall reasons for or against this battery versus ... Lithium ion? Gel battery? I'm deciding on a battery system to support 360° plus cabin dash cam system with radar and parking mode. The commercial batteries for dash cam systems, are the phosphate batteries. They seem to work extremely well in below freezing temperatures. Still searching for more information that's how I found your video. W5CO
I am not an expert, however I decided to go with a Lithium phosphate battery for the following reasons. 1-Better temperature extremes. 2-Less fire prone than Lithium Ion. May still burn in due to, extreme conditions, improper charging, and defects with the internal BMS. 3-Less weight than a Gel battery. A little heavier than a Lithium Ion. 4-Longer life that Lithium Ion, and Gel batteries.
