I spent many years sailing my Marshall Sanderling. Wonderful boat. A joy to sail. Thanks to you, your Dad and your team. In my old age I've gone to the "dry side" running a Downeaster these days but have fond memories of the Marshall. Wishing you and your team continued success.
We’ve had our Marshall 22 for one year now. We sail her in Florida, and she is absolutely perfect. Thanks Geoff for keeping the tradition of great boat building.
I have an 18' in Empuriabrava, Spain. Obviously the only one. As usual Im naval Broker, only sail. And also im the builder of minitransats argo 650. A funny and fouls world. But only a have pace of mind when start sail with our Marshall at end of day . Braco and continue your fantastic work. Andres Duran
Hi, Geoff! Just emailed you earlier today regarding some Sanderling listings you have on your brokerage web page; look forward to speaking with you soon about those boats! The video, here, was terrific and, btw, I’m off to watch and learn some more about Marshall Catboats from the other videos you’ve listed on your channel! ~ Michelle aka ‘Chelle’
There's no better bay boat/near shore boat from Maine to the Chesapeake. Catboats are also a wide-beamed pleasure to sail. There's a museum in West Sayville N.Y. on the Great South Bay. Classic ! I have even seen them rigged as Ice-boats on Bellport Bay.
How long can a Cape Cod Cat be made without throwing the handling off. 40 years ago looked over one made of ferro cement and it was large but I wasn't capable of building it up from just the rig and hull, so that dream was put to rest then.
Jeff. (or anyone else with knowledge) Did you build or approve a Sanderling with the mast set further aft for a spinnaker? I’m looking at a 1979 (?) but am not convinced that it came from your shop like this. Seems to me it would create a balance problem. Thanks in anticipation. John.
Hi John. There were a few Sanderlings built with sloop rigs over the years but they were all kit boats which were finished by the owners. I don't believe any of them were rigged for spinnakers. Geoff

I want one !
Might I ask does the Marshall 22 have a head and sink, or can they have one installed when built new?
