Nice Work and lot of information. I'm definitely going to watch your videos (again) when I plan my next trip to these places you've been to. Liked & Subscribed.
I envy you. I'd like to go out as well. Go hiking, exercise, alpinism. Getting in shape a minimum again. But because of Covid, and even if it's now permitted I have to stay at home as a vulnerable person. And because of my condition I can't even train at home (yet). Great landscapes and great video dude!
Thanks a lot! Yeah being in the mountains is such an incredible experience. Covid really screwed things up for us, sad to hear you're not able to head out! But at least it gives you time to get in shape and once we can start moving freely "post covid" you're hopefully stronger! On the "bright side" It's not the worse time being unable to move around since we can't anyway 😉
I've been looking for videos this clear, informative and visually beautiful for ages. Great help for sorting out possible next holiday destinations. Thank you!
Thank you! I'm happy it at least helps one person, that was my goal starting this channel :) I have a few more coming soon but my job made me unable to finish them :/ If you need any tips or ideas feel free to reach out!
@@WalkandTalkchannel Nice, looking forward! Not yet ready for the multiple day hikes but looking for good 1-day hikes in this area with same start and finish point(preferably with parking). If you have any good locations/tips they'd be much appreciated! Already saw your video of the more accessible hike; put that on the list already :).
@@kkkkkooooosssss My next video is on "triftbrücke" which starts and ends in the same parking lot, it's not the longest hike but you can extend it different ways (I hope to get it out next week, but my job has absorbed a lot of my time lately) You could also park your car somewhere, take the bus up and hike back to your car on some of these hikes I've made videos of so far :)
@@kkkkkooooosssss I just remembered, this one is also very nice! where you park your car and take a cable car up pizol.com/sommer-erleben/wandern/29/5-seen-wanderung
@@WalkandTalkchannel Wow, the five lake hike looks amazing already. Keeping an eye out for your video, good luck finishing up the edit. Thank you so much for the suggestions, hope I get to test some for myself this summer :)
Fantastic! Happy it helps you! If you have any questions feel free to reach out, it is an Incredible experience, try to start early to you get to see the Ibex before others are up there scaring them away! (Pro Tip ;))
Hej friend hiker ! I'm a local from this area and know all these routes like the back of my pocket and I greatly admire the superb work you're doing promoting these landscapes for the rest of the world ! Keep it up, you rock !!
Hi Anton! Thanks! the feedback really means a lot! To be honest, the area around where you live is amazing! I always tell people "I make videos of the alps because there is no effort involved in making it look good because the alps are just amazing wherever you go, I don't think I would be able to make anything people would like to watch if it wasn't for the alps" 😂! No but I feel people don't get enough information in English about these places so I hope my videos will help them find these incredible places! Once I have enough material (enough places) I will make "top 5 hikes" which is something more people will watch than these types of videos, but this hike will ABSOLUTLEY be there! You're a lucky man living in an area like this, and again, Thanks A lot for sharing your thoughts!
@@WalkandTalkchannel My pleasure Fredrik ! There was a gap to be filled next to the massive campaign the Swiss Tourist Office does about all that Switzerland has to offer which is alas (mostly) all on the well beaten track. It takes people like you to make people discover the real beauties of this country and more generally the Alps and I just want to congratulate you 😉looking forward to your next installments !
Everyone is different. That bridge was would be no problem for me. BUT many shots in your videos of a 2 foot wide traversing path(s) with hundred(s) of feet vertical drop on the side scare me to death. I never understood the reference of one's blood "running cold" until I left Mesmer in the Alpstein to Schaller.
Hahahahah so true! I actually get super scared of all of those paths as well, I hate anything and everything which has to do with heights! Which Path was that? There are some pretty sketchy paths up there to be honest and plenty of people just assume it's a walk in the part, I even saw people doing the ridge up to Säntis in flip flops (tourists, and they turned back) 😂

Thanks a lot mate! Appreciate your support, please reach out next time you plan a trip if you need more insight :)
My heart was beating so hard when you crossed that bridge. I am so afraid of height. This was an incredible hike, astonishing scenery! Thanks
Thanks! Yeah, that bridge 🤣! I must admit, I'm usually better with them when I am with others, but I was totally alone which must have affected me!
Hi, Keep up the Good Work!
Thanks mate, same to you :)
That bridge looks amazing! :)))

that looks insane! can't believe you did all of that

Not sure hiking is the best hobby if you’re afraid of heights. Have you considered knitting instead?
🤣, you've got a point! Knitting has become a thing in corona times, maybe I should join the "savvy knitters"!
👍
