Plot twist: tails was just flying back down to sonic, he came back to life after the death egg blew up
At least the two of them are back together again.
The original fangame made me cry. The attention to detail is crazy too that when Sonic falls Tails' body parts get out of the Death Egg because it exploded. If you get a Dark emerald (Or a Fake Emerald if you wated Sonic X) Sonic will get very angry and will transform airborne and will become Dark Super Sonic. You'll then have to fight a really hard DDZ-like Eggman bossfight to get the Saviour ending.

The first scene is from a horror game called friendship.exe where sonic in sonic 2 but he cant find tails,your mission(sonic) is to find tails. Sonic goes through a bonus stage which teleported him to the death egg and surpisingly,he found tails dead.

also there is a dark emerald which was weird when i played and nothing happened. but when eggman exploded the ship,sonic kept falling but instead of falling to his death,he started to go super sonic but instead of becoming super sonic,he went dark and killed eggman (i think he killed eggman)
