Here's an idea: There's going to be a huge number of people keeping their F2P accounts after this event is over. This puts alot of accounts at the 3 month mark, which is about where you start to take Hydra a bit more seriously. It would be splendid if we can get a full breakdown of how to fight Hydra as a F2P. And with majority of the team comp being Epic Champs. This could easily benefit all these F2P accounts post- tournament.
I agree with this, I would also love to see people taking on a new F2P account hydra with epics.
@xgrandchampx8916 It just makes sense. imo. I'm F2P, so to see Epic team comps and a Hydra breakdown is top tier. Hellhades would probably pick the craziest Epic comp and still 1 key th Easiest Hydra boss
Start to take Hydra seriously at the three month point? Only if you got seriously lucky. I've been playing Raid for 3 years and only about a year ago did I have the champs to beat Hydra normal (I can now key Brutal depending on rotation)
@franklingoodwin I probably didn't say it the right way. I mean like being able to 3 key the first chest. Which is very realistic. I currently can't 3 key 500k total damage. Lol. I guess I shouldn't say "seriously". I just mean being able to get any amount of rewards.
@@justinhall6924 Fair enough. I get your point. When I first did Hydra I was 2 keying it and just used the 3rd key to get the lowest reward in Hard
I know others have said this but I would put the legendaies you pull in the vault for whoever gets the FTP after the contest is over. Like a bonus for them. Using them as chickens feels so wrong. Either way, loving this years contest so far

Loving the new f2p challenge, fits perfectly with sintranos dropping. I can’t think of a single CC that hasn’t mentioned how many epics that have surged in value, and this is an ideal way to showcase they’re utility, really enjoying it keep up the awesome work man!!
Feeding a Hephrak into a Juliana. This is absolutely the first time soneone has done that.
I actually love the no legendary pull challenge. It levels the playing field dramaticly IMO.
Making Juliana the next 6* is an effective ritual for ensuring you pull an Occult Brawler or Geomancer soon after.
I'm glad you have tools to find those who may be cheating!! Some people seemed to be beyond real in their progress. As it is I am totally overwhelmed with how much progress the CC's have made. I am just creeping along lol, with absolutely no decent shard pulls. The RNG is incredible, but I guess knowing what you are doing vs me just floundering along also makes a huge difference. Keep up the excellent work, I am finding watching the different streams interesting and it helps "keep me company" on these chilly, snowy winter days.
I’m glad you pulled Juliana. She was my first epic 5 years ago and it’s time you give her the respect she deserves as an early game pull for CB
put her in lifesteal and she will last as long as Kael and do more damage. She carried my FTP ClanBoss team until I got Dracomorph
Rathalos should get the masteries next. You want to make sure you can farm Minotaur 15, and Julianna will not help much if she's built mainly to do poisons and burn.
EDIT: watched further into the vid and you did indeed do Rathalos. Good call :).

This is actually fun to watch - I started my 4th referal (after 3 failed attempts) but I won't be thinking as much about it as I might play the 6 star game, but I am only up to lvl 40 for now as I want Barbarian the Burner

I was wondering how some people were progressing so quickly without spending; but I was also wondering if spending could be detected. And now both questions have been answered!
I do the Forge Pass every time it appears--although I don't enjoy it. It's not the playing quests that irk me--it's staying logged in for over two hours (to collect the final daily quest). Typically I just leave the game running by itself and go do something else. Bu I resent it, lol!
I don't usually get the Gold Pass, but I'm thinking about it this time, for the "Ratholos Set." Of course, I'm asking myself, "Are they Plariuming me?!?"

I play Raid on PC. What can be done is open Raid before going to bed. Send PC in hibernation mode. Next day when you turn PC on - raid will be running and you can claim rewards as if you were logged in all night

@@DemonicEmperor2023 no, unlike sleep mode where your pc still uses a lil bit of energy - hibernation is effectively a shutdown. The only difference is it stores the contents of the memory onto hard disk. So you're safe against power outage.

Yeah, my trick for hydra until I got a good team together has been a drop speed on the cleansing head then the AOE block buffs. Gets instantly cleansed off, but at least it stopped the poison cloud and let me get turn cycling to give me several turns to sort it out next time. Just need to throw out some smaller debuffs and save your good ones for after the cleanse comes through.
Does HH stream on YT these days? I was trying to see if there were any past live streams (even just him grinding away doing the ftp challenge). Saw a couple old streams but wondered if I missed a channel where Vods are listed?

Juliana was my first six star, alongside my Ronda they helped me get through brutal campaign. Juliana is still one of my hardest hiters in CB, I did book her.
Are participants allow to use guaranteed champion if they pull one?
Also if they pull it before the guaranteed and it ends because of it?

Pestilus is one of my best built champs on my older acc in relentless so he can occasionally increase acc and crit dmg place leech and boost turn meter in succession very useful in doom tower specifically but can be good elsewhere in a f2p challenge with limited options
Why not make Daithi the next 6 star? With all the extra turns you'll get a lot more warmaster hits, and you'll be using him everywhere for the decrease defense.

I also think it should be Daithi. Clan boss is definitely important early, but is not the only area you have to progress in. Daithi helps so much more with wave based content
Masteries are more useful on a 60. I think you should do it with Rathalos. Think he's more likely to help with a Mino team too.

Really enjoying the f2p series can’t join though one account is already too much time. You mentioned vanguard as a chicken . He is part of the weregrin fusion for Mikage. Although not too likely to be able to do that fusion in 3 months. Should hold on for champ chase points etc
Juliana all day every day for sure! Midgame player here, used Juliana with some extra DEF on clan boss since I got her and she is still on my CB Nightmare team. On CB UNM she doesn't cut it but hey, day 11... go for it!
as someone that is a year in to the yourney. I have gotten 0 leggo for sacred order. My current team is a rag tag mix of people, I have gotten both julianna and Romero and if I could have Romero's 4th ability without using Julianna I would. It could be the fact that I have not built her out very well but she is not super good. But I get it get her to 60 for CB damage. Just remember the gear are not the best in the start and you need accuracy on her so she won't do dmg with her hits and you want her to have 100% crit for her to place those poisons, makes it hard to get survivability as you prolly know but might have forgotten.
I would get masteries for someone that will help you clear 15 Minotaur because then you can farm masteries and save gems.
I made the mistake of doing Deacon as my second assuming he was going to be my 2nd or 3rd 6*, and I can’t quite clear 15. Now I’ve pulled Toragi, and Deacon is on hold right now.

given its a contest and has a timeframe of 3 months, well its kinda sprint in my opinion. with juliana's kits, shes perfect as dps for clan boss which gives better daily rewards potentially. so, i think it would be interesting and helpful for progression if you build juliana. it will also serve as a guide for anyone who are limited on champs and interested to build their juliana. for the content.

What is your opinion about counter attack masteries on Rathalos in tuned team? My Rathalos goes with 4:3 ratio. Every 3 turn his 200% damage bonus applies to A2>A3>A2 and so on. Getting more attack via counter attack is good for cycling passive faster but it can also mess up the damage bonus. Right now i can control which skill can get bonus 200% damage but if he counters i can't control and by chance if majority of the 200% bonus goes to A1 or worse, counter attacks, i could lose damage at the end of the run.
On a side note tho: I initially loved no lego rule but i don't think its a good one especially for early game race and for people who win giveaways after the challenge is over. Looking at you Hephraak lol.
Using a legendary champ on Day 1 is pretty much same as using starter in most cases. On the other hand using a lego as a 5* chicken on Day 1 helped alot of people to push leaderboards.
If this rule were in effect last year there probably would be no Krisk in Locker's account which will be givenaway to a winner this year.
Anyway, its a great challenge. I had an amazing fun with my clan on day 1 where nobody knew each other but still chat for hours in the middle of night lmao . Sadly had to leave due to how time consuming it was with all the events raid threw at us in the last week. At least now i have time to watch people how they progress their account.
I love Juliana honestly, the purge buffs + burns is amazing and how quickly the A2 cycles is great imo.
After our conversation and this video i came to conclusion that you NEED to give some LOVE to Juliana!!! You won't be disappointed by her really, even if you ever get yourself an unkillable team you will use her in clan boss still, now she will be your main damage dealer until you get your Rathalos good gear

What do you think of Gator?? I know most people use as food, but he has the fastest debuff removal skill for all, equivalent to some legendary.
I would put masteries on the champ that produces more damage over time in CB fights. In effect it will enable them to survive longer into the battle, and the champ that does more damage per turn is the one you want to survive longer.
In favor of Juliana: she could also be helpful for advancing further in Dragon so you can farm more speed and lifesteal gear.
The only reason I would lean towards Rathalos is if you think you may not complete full masteries on both champs. Rathalos has more end game potential and you will use him for a long time. Juliana is good now, but could be replaced more easily later on and only serve her purpose in Faction Crypt.
If you're going to complete masteries on both champs, I'd say Juliana first makes the most sense.
Ok question. I know you can't use legendary Champs from shards and can only use the login variants or grinding to get them in an event, but are you able to use the Champs when a guaranteed event is active? Example: 150 ancient shards = Brogni, Teodor, Krisk (hacks if you're able to get krisk) ect... ect.... Genuine question btw bc I'm always told by so many people, "is this dude serious?" Like yes I'm serious curious, Idk anything about this FTP 2024 challenge, it's brand new and very interesting to me
no as it is still from shards and trying to save 150 ancients in the first 3 month of gameplay would be mental and pretty damaging to progression if you did manage them
@thefknzipster9137 I am at the 100th day in my account so 3 months and couple days in. I couldn't do any of the fusions yet, but I am saving up for the next one. Should I focus on that if I feel prepared or focus more on progressing? I can't do stage 20 of dungeons, nor any real damage to get a reward from Hydra and couple different things aren't going well, but I have been saving some shards, not much cause 20 ancients, 11 voids, 4 primals, and 4 sacreds. Gotta say waiting for the shards to open in the right moment is really hard.
@akrumvatum1627 i might be the wrong person to ask as i just pull shards lol. I think progression is the main aim and the reason why i hate cvc, as it forces people to halt progression if the want to take part. You can still progress though and also save those shards for a fusion

I used Juliana to get to UNM CB she is great after the buff
I mean if clan boss is really the key to this game I would go all out with it. The closer you can get to consistent shard drops the better

I'd love a juliana to pair with the romero i pulled. My pulls have been so disappointing. The one really good epic I've pulled is doompriest, who is great, but is also probably the least exciting champ in the game.

Masteries on Rathalos as he can help you clear minotaur and farm more.
Juliana replaced Galek on my CB team until I earned Scyl at 6 months. I like her pretty well and she's still on my tag arena teams.

Just an idea. The content creators doing this challenge should save all the legendaries you get and then raffle off these accounts for charity or something at the end of the challenge
HH i would do rathalos because you can do minotaur with kael,rathalos and farm juliana her masteries instead :)

Sadly I started my FTP a bit early than this challenge. I found Tolog a very good champ. He gives you healing and also a revive. So I don't have to build everyone in life steal. Also he is a rare so booking is easier.

I do like the extra goodies from the Forge Pass, as well as the new Artifact/Accessory Set. That being said, are going up to Forge Pass 1,087!? Also, with Hephraak on this account, I think it's worth dropping out and trying to sell the account.

I vote rathalos for masteries. Because this is a earned legendaries only, he provides the unique opportunity to have smite as well as warmaster. You probably will barely get any other legendary dps units for a long while and he will become primary

Juliana is solid. She is a six star on one of my alt accounts and she'd be a perfect pairing with Rathalos.

No, no, no. Evicerator is a nice Arena Champion.
There are a couple of videos out on her. Whenever a Duchess or a Siphi heals she smacks them. And that 1 turn cooldown means she does a lot of smacks. And, like you said, she smacks hard! She is a little hard to keep alive, but not a bad champ.
Are you guys allowed to fuse Lady Mikage? If so you might want to consider keeping Vanguard for that reason alone!

For me I would put a regen + speed sets on Juliana since she can speed up her own turn meter
Daithi hard carries my FW team all the way through FW 21. he's a God of cycling turns in Relentless.
What I glean from this is no appreciable progress without at least 2 great level-60 champs.

I have her on my CB team and she outdamages Rathalos without masteries. I put masteries on Rathalos but even at 40 Julianna is my top damage dealer. She is my next investment.
Rath already powered w/o masteries compared to Juli, use gems on Juli masteries to have 2 powers

Loving the series but I don't agree with the no using shard legendary champions. It's ftp which is already limited. Not being able to use champions that were acquired legit thru campaign and the random ancient in the shop now and again really makes it limited to the point of its not really ftp its more of a separate challenge all together 😢 but all in all still loving the content as always. OMG, this is not even a joke? Free to play is a hard thing to do. Full time free to player going strong for 4 years now. I beat Plarium every single day. Keep slaying their ingame offers. My RES stats are beyond imagination.
