Just what Mt. Olympus needs. Less slides and more parking lot

That’s just ridiculous. I’ve been going down those slides for years upon years. People don’t understand how much Blue Green owners enjoyed that outdoor section. Hopefully down the line, that “lot” will be filled with new slides or other attractions, specifically for Blue Green owners. I’m so disappointed that our little area is pretty much gone now…

The slidewheel is surprisingly fun and probably the best water slide I've ever been on.

So the only people I've met in real life that have ridden it told me it was disorienting and they got sick with all the back and forth motions and the light patterns on the slide changing constantly.

And also find a way to expand the outdoor waterpark as at this point it’s only the 2 wave pools and the play structure and the triton slides.

I just saw where they removed the speed slides and those are easily best on property too but I get why they did it

They really need to bring back the 2 old body slides and add some new slides that goes outside the building for extra room if there is spare room like it barely is called a water park if there is only 3 main water slides like it’s extremely bland at this point the slidewheel looks promising.

I am so sad. I always loved demons drop and dragons tail. Easily my favorite slides. Though they were old I felt they had a timeless look to them and were some of the parks best slides to offer. If they don't reconstruct those two I will never go to Mt Olympus again.

I was there in July and rode Medusa's slidewheel...it was awesome. It is a family raft type ride so there has to be 2-4 people in the group. There is a raft total rider weight minimum as well as height requirements. I don't recall what they are but I'm thinking it was close to like 56" and around 340 pounds. It is not for little kids! I witnessed a few children too short to ride walking away from the line entrance with sad looks...Mt. Olympus doesn't list anywhere the required height until the actual ride entrance so families that are excited and amp'd up to ride get turned away because they don't stand tall enough yet. I really think the height requirements should be known prior to arriving at the ride entrance.

I am going this Thursday. This will be exciting. But I have to ask why they removed those two indoor body slides. That's not an expansion. That's just a downgrade.

The tunnel one was the best slide in the indoor park too that’s a huge loss for them

@@noahkessler5500 I was wondering if I was the only one who thought that and questioning my memory of a slide I rode 13 years ago. Those green slides were awesome. But I would think this slide wheel will draw more people into the park though.

@@CoasterRanger I feel like they could’ve worked around those slides unfortunately now that area looks bland too but I’m excited to see how the slide wheel is and I’m sure it’ll do great things

Id say to bring them back in somewhere in the indoor waterpark expansion if there is spare room.
