Pete Jones might just be the finest all-round musician Britain has ever produced. He and Andy Latimer are an incredible combination in Camel (not forgetting Denis and Colin)
Loads of feel and no small amount of musical intelligence in this fantastic performance. My 13-year old son was moved enough to remark why they don't make music like this anymore. I was delighted to tell him, with this being a relatively new piece of music, that indeed, they still do! Love Pete Jones - came close to blowing Pendragon off the stage in Morecambe two weeks ago - wonderful guy, great writer, great musician.
Saw Camel last night in Manchester, UK and he was amazing on keyboards with superb vocals too and now I find this. Gobsmacked!!! What a talent. Must look into his music.
There's lots to explore especially on the Tiger Moth Tales bandcamp page. Happy exploring. tigermothtales.bandcamp.com/ ua-cam.com/video/ZpnJmWEJVZg/v-deo.html
I was there as well with my daughter. I agree. Pete was astonishing. Judging by this performance using his 'Sustainiac' I'd LOVE to see and hear him duet with Andy.
This is amazing talent most big bands would never include this great talent in their band it would make them look small but camel took him on, how wonderful camel truly are.
This is soul moving music. Pete plays like a mix of Dave Gilmour and Andy Latimer. What instrument can this young man NOT play? He is a genius God Bless him!
Wow! That was amazing! Goes straight to my Progressive Rock playlist (2000 to 2019) I'll have to share this with my network and look into more of Peters Music. The guitar work stunned me...it ranks up there with Roy Buchanan and David Gilmour
Chris, have you worked with Pete before? The two of you are in bands that write kinda similar styles of prog so it wouldn't surprise me, but I was just wondering.
@@prosynth You guys are funny. Do you write a similar mail to a newspaper if their music journalist wrote a bad review about your fav band? Besides - of course I play better than him.and of course I know a lot more about music theory than him - that´s why I can hear the dowsides and you can´t - obviously.
Some of the finest guitar work I have EVER heard, bar none -- lives up to Steve Hackett, Andy Latimer, and other prog greats.
Stunning solo. So emotionally charged just excellent.

PETE IS PRICELESS
There are only 2 people who touch my soul like Pter Jones, one is Steve Rothery of Marillion, the other is my beautiful lady!!!
And remember this is live. What would it be in a studio situation….
Phénoménal
Jaw dropping
the first lament must to be integrate on the camel moonmadness tour !!!
Seco!!!
Wow!
That is one hell of a guitar solo. Thats as good as Dave Gilmour for my money!
3 people are a very sad, lonely and dark people...
OMG!
Very Gilmourish!
What next pete???
Chris, have you worked with Pete before? The two of you are in bands that write kinda similar styles of prog so it wouldn't surprise me, but I was just wondering.
as AL as.
Awesome guitar but horrible drum sound
Just boring. 4 chords and an endless noodling.
Boring only to those void of heart and soul.
I believe that this guy is partially sighted, possibly blind. He plays by touch & feel, so cut some slack, please.

Sometimes there is beauty in simplicity, besides, it's not just the chords, it's the melody on top of it.
