no but they do both use the 8080 CPU and the SN76477 sound chip but internally layed out quite a bit differently, for example this game allows colors where as Space invaders resorted to clear plastic overlays for color. this game is quite a bit more advanced despite the fact it uses quite a few of the same components internally at least chip wise.

I used to play this game in an arcade when I was little. The machine used to take old pre decimalisation pennies and give you 50p's worth of credit.
