Slaves of Christ. Awesome. This is what we were talking about in Pastoral Leadership class at Valor Christian College. Dr. Dave Earely's book "Pastoral Leadership is..." has a chapter devoted to this concept.

Must be the best message I've heard in a while..
Then here in John 8, He says, unless you Believe that Ego Eimi(I Am) you will die in your sins.. this is crucial to those who just believe that Jesus was Michael the archangel, or Jesus was Lucifers brother, or that Jesus was a prophet. No, you will die in your sins unless you believe I am the true and living God.
This verse here is a prophecy from psalms unbeknownst to me, God says to the son, "O God, your throne is forever... amazing...
But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
    Hebrews 1:8‭-‬9 NKJV

The WORD teaches Sabbath is holy!
The WORLD teaches Sunday is holy!
    7th day Sabbath = Exodus 20:8-11
    1st day Sunday = Mark 7:7

      Romans 4:16
      Colossians 2:16
      Hebrews 4
      Matt 11:28-30
The sabbath commandment is not a moral commandment. 7th day sabbath observance was a shadow that pointed to something greater, which is Christ Jesus our eternal sabbath rest. To put your faith in Christ is to stop trying to be saved by works and to be saved by God's grace and mercy.
If you make 7th day sabbath keeping an issue of salvation then you are in the same danger as the Galatian church. You have added works to the Gospel of Grace and are trying to take on the yoke of the Old Covenant. If you do this Christ's blood will be of no effect for you and you will die in your sins and face the wrath of God. Pray for mercy and repent of this false teaching. You think you're keeping the true sabbath holy but tragically you have fallen short of entering God's true rest. If you hear His voice, do not harden your heart.

Isaiah 56:4 For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. 8 The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
Isaiah 58:5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the Lord? 6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? 8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.

2 Thessalonians 2:13But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Ephesians2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Matthew 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

One question, if John would have still been alive during the destruction of Jerusalem, don’t you think that he would’ve wrote about that in the book of Revelation?
If somebody was writing the history of New York, and left out 911, I believe that would be odd?

I know that Jeff is post-mil, but is he also preterist? I know full preterism has been considered a heresy by the church for some time, so I am just curious.

BenNocella Postmillennialism holds that Jesus Christ establishes his kingdom on earth through his preaching and redemptive work in the first century and that he equips his church with the gospel, empowers her by the Spirit, and charges her with the Great Commission (Matt 28:19) to disciple all nations. Postmillennialism expects that eventually the vast majority of people living will be saved. Increasing gospel success will gradually produce a time in history prior to Christ's return in which faith, righteousness, peace, and prosperity will prevail in the affairs of men and of nations. After an extensive era of such conditions Jesus Christ will return visibly, bodily, and gloriously, to end history with the general resurrection and the final judgment after which the eternal order follows.

I disagree with your opinion about Jews and Samaritans. It had nothing to do with race, the Jews did not like their views on the Pentateuch. The Samaritans were descendants of Assyrians which were pagans, but again, that is not race.

Nowhere in the Bible and I repeat, nowhere in the Bible are we called to be "slaves of Christ." This is heresy and an example of works. Gelation's 4:7 makes this point clear.
We are sons and heirs of Yahweh. Slave and son are antimedical logically and if God wanted slaves, then he is incompetence made manifest to have created disobedient mankind to be his slaves. But simple logic aside, God has made it clear what we are to him. We are NOT slaves but valued sons. We are not property but family. We are not owned but freed.
Enough with this talking point on God's dominance and ownership over us. It is foolish, misguided and above all, unbiblical.
