Other than the drinking Frank is exactly like my late brother in law, simple and wouldn’t hurt a fly, very humble, It always made me mad how people would take advantage of people like Frank they always got the worst jobs, thank you Micah for being his friend!! Great video!!!

Really enjoyed the interview. Yeah, I too was wrong regarding my best guess about Frank's age. Enjoy him when he's in a video, wish he would have dwelt more on the wood shingles he used to make. Always been in awe of how wood shingles really work. Lived in a house in my youth that had a shingled roof. Could always see the stars twinkling at night yet when it rained nary a drop came through that roof. Cedar shingles BTW, might have been one-of-a-kind have never seen another. BTW, I do live in East Texas Gulf Coast and we do get rain!

You boys are my kind of fellars !!! Hard to find good honest folks these days. Are y’all up near that Dale Hollow Lake ?? I used to catch trout in the Obey river below the Dam there. Here’s you something funny. I was out in Colorado trout fishing and an old timer said… “ So you from Tennessee huh… must be nice to have the nation’s largest trout hatchery in your back yard”. I had no idea that the trout hatchery at Dale Hollow lake was the biggest in the country and I’m from Tennessee. I was plum embarrassed I didn’t know that . Well … I just wanted to say howdy. Just discovered your channel and immediately subscribed. Y’all be good and I hope the good Lord blesses y’all.

Well you know the old saying (sure is a small world) if you know the area we live in a small community called sweet lips. Not to far from the old (Stoll sorghum mill) if y’all ever in my neck of the woods give me a shout like to meet you
I was born in 1956 too , I honestly thought he was older too , I guess because of his hair . I look younger but I'm in poor health and can't get around very well and on oxygen 24/7 so I guess I'd rather look older and be more healthy like Frank . I wasn't a drinker but I was /am a cigarette smoker unfortunately.. he's a sweet man ❤ and I understand about the deer hunting thing, I use to hunt and I shot one and it ended up being a baby buck that got hit standing next to his mom and it cried and screamed in the woods and I NEVER went deer hunting again

Her real dad was always in her life. He passed away last year unfortunately.

Franks a young whipper snapper I was born 1/8/1950 so I’ll be 74 in a few days. I also like bacon especially OP Bacon it’s the best kind.

Ok, no ones askin' enough "questions", so I'll ask some. ha! How many years was Frank married and how many youngin's does he have? It sounds, from what you said, that at one time he was married to your wife's mother? Did he have any children with this lady, because then you guys would be "related" in a sense, as your wife would have half-siblings. Was Frank married to a different lady first, had children, got divorce, then married your wife's mother, then got 2nd divorce? And one more question (lol) . . . was you guys just kiddin' that Frank was still in the 3rd/4th grade at age 21? We loved the interview . . . we loved Frank's simplicity and his humility! We can all "learn" something from Frank!
