We need David to be a massive star on the big screen that we can all spin around. He is the perfect antidote to negativity. I'm as straight as they come, and I say I love you man ! Hello from Prague, CZ
He is absolutely adorable. Always has been. When he gets giddy and animated it instantly makes me smile. I'm glad for this interview. An honest and endearing interview!
Honestly, David deserves more views than what has received so far. Between the giggles and the laughs and innocent sarcasm while story telling, he's sharing such😮 profound, deep, and vulnerable moments within his family and personal journey. And like always I ❤❤❤❤❤ just how Mayim is relatable and also elevates her interviewees. But really, genuinely, full Curiosity, complete intrigue of who she interviews comes through. I rant... But really ❤ this!
To tell your story WHILE living it.....priceless. Thank you, David. I pray for such confidence some day soon. It ain't easy being human, but it CAN be fun.
Thank you so much for posting this interesting interview with David Arquette. I remember him really well from the movie "Ready to Rumble". You have an awesome channel, Mayim! ❤
I don't think I've ever seen David outside of acting in a role! Had no idea he was such a genuine, sweet human! Totally thrown off by this personality being so far from what i imagined in my head! ❤❤❤
I love David's story AND his laugh! Even though he is telling his own story, his laugh comes across as a 'can you believe this 💩'!!! I really enjoyed this episode! You have done it again, Mayim. ❤
One of my best memories over the last number of years is meeting David when he wrestled at the company I work at Alpha1 in Hamilton Ontario Canada. This was a great interview.
I loved watching & listening to this interview. David is such a lovely bloke with many strings to his bow that I wasnt aware of. It's refreshing to see someone from 'Hollywood' with no ego, not taking himself too seriously and just being his true self and speaking his honest truth. Love that he is so down to earth. Great job Mayim, I enjoy all of your interviews
I've been a fan of the Scream franchise for years and David is a freaking legend and its good to see him doing well. I love this conversation between you two!! ❤
I love you for this … I work with him on all the screams just as a background extra and he was always so cool I said so it’s good to know that’s really who he is
What a fascinating interview! David Arquette's vulnerability and humanity is palpable. He showed a side of himself we need to see in public personalities. I am now a fan! Mayim, may I say you have a transcendent ability to connect with your guests in a way that defies all standards. You provide such a level of safety and comfort to your guests and audience. Truly remarkable! Thank you! 🙏🏻 🧡
I think is a beautiful episode as so appreciate the vulnerability David was open to. So grateful. Got me thinking of my own ups and downs and shifts, etc. And, the tools to get me thru. Thank you 🙏
"I want kindness to be cool again" us a great quote to live by - In my late twenties being a rock musician and composer I became addicted to cocaine for 3 years and it almost killed me - surviving Covid for a lot of us a global healing and emotional rollercoaster allowing us to be angry at the state of the world - being kind became synonymous with passiveness and weakness - spreading the power of love and kindness has proven to be a societal war much like the Hippie 60s - Thanks to you Mayim and Jonathan for bringing these subjects to light❤
I loved listening to his stories…brings back memories! I went to Fairfax High School with him & graduated the same year 1989. I didn’t know him personally but he seems to genuinely have a sweet nature and good heart ♥️
I had liked David in some movies but didn’t know his name or anything about him. Was excited to watch this video upon seeing him in thumbnail.. Getting to know about some amazing people up close n personal is the beauty of the BialikBreakdown and I love every episode of it.. There’s always so much scope to learn from every one of them ❤ always eager for your next breakdown podcast 😍 missed Jonathan in this one, hope we get to see him again in the next one ❤
I really relate to your word, Mayim, because I was a neuroscientist who was told by many, many people that I was more fun when I drank. The only hard part of quitting drinking many years ago for my health was this aspect. I haven’t made any real new frowns since giving up alcohol 20+ years ago! But it is way more important to have my health than have people like me.
Hi! I’ve been sober for 25 years and I go to AA and I have so many real friends and we have so much fun! You wouldn’t think it would be fun but it is and I love it! Congratulations on your sobriety! ❤
So interesting:) he seems like a nice guy. I've only seen his acting in Never Been Kissed but he seems just the way I thought he would be as a person. Very caring and kind and enlightened. So happy I came across your podcast. I've been watching so much to help me get through the hard days. Thank you 🙏🏻 can't wait to keep seeing who comes on next
I absolutely love your Interwiews. Im so glad and lucky to be born in a bbt family. so you were a giant part of my childhood till now. and now im enjoying all of your videos a lot in adulthood as well. thank you so much for sharing these.❤❤ much love and keep up the good work
❤love him thank you Mayim for another amazing podcast interview..love your channel..love from a long time fan.i grew up watching you on blossom 👒you are a true inspiration.love from England 🏴
Hey Mayim, thanks for the interview. Have always loved him and he’s funny, yet deep. Actually I like all the Arquette’s.I know this isn’t about Rosanna, but Desperately Seeking Susan is one of my fav movies 🍿 ❤Maybe you can have Susan Seidelman on some time. Her book is awesome 😎
I think I can see why Courtney fell for him. He seems like he's truly innocent in a way and unassuming. His "almost on the verge of uncontrollable giggling" thing is so cute.
OMG! How fantastic would it be for Mayim to interview Nick Cage on the Breakdown!?! An hour and 1/2 of the deep thoughts and events that have influenced the creative mind and personality that is Nick Cage. May the nouveau shamanistic Gods look kindly upon us and bless us with this intention 🙏
Personally I thought David's run as WCW Champion was pretty genius....and if they'd have handled it better - could have REALLY elongated WCW's run on television and preempted the early demise of it....David's cool. And hot!
Dear zdavid, u are delightful & when u smile♡♡ u looked exactlY like the late, greaT Charlie Weaver, yoyr Grandpa.❤ I grew up enjoying Charlie Weaver.....& GrandpawJones🎼🩵
There's a band whose stage performance is something that I've tried describing as "mime", and I wonder if they fit David's description of clowning. "Daikaiju" is a band whose members are only known by non-speaking, kabuki mask wearing alter egos with names like "Blast Man". At live shows they get the audience involved, comedically encouraging them. It's almost like Blue Man Group with but with-surf metal songs with titals including "Zombie Harem".
Puddles is great! So I can see how him and David would mesh and go well together...as an act of clowns among clowns. David, traditionally clowning around as Bobo in rather unconventional pickle-chuckin' DJ ways, with Puddles, sort of mixing things up in his own way, classical miming intermingling with a rather classically disciplined, and almost, operatic lilt, or slant, application of his performances, reinventing and/or remixing mostly very unoperatic songs and musical numbers taking them right to the edge of opera-like production paired with a nearly 90's era level of the Smashing Pumpkins' melancholy that they are or were so well known for. Also it blew my mind and caught me so off guard when David said he was born in Front Royal, Virginia...where I lived for almost a decade, and I have some family still living there, and had grew up in the same house, where I'd lived almost my whole childhood but the first few years, and did K through 12th grade living in that house, just a few towns down, or away from Front Royal as well. Where I've known of or even met a few different celebrities I was lucky enough to meet or run into or work for, that, either, were born, or grew up in, or were just moving to or were passin' through my home state of Virginia, all of them meaningful to me in their own right, but few actors are connected to Virginia, especially of the celebrities that I have actually met, however briefly. Our celebrities of the sports, political, or musicians' realms far outweigh Hollywood, and the world of or for actors, in Virginia, I would say at least in my experience personally lol! So it means not a lot, I guess but certainly something to me even with just David being born here. It, just a sort of connection for me to my home state, or further/additional connection to it...though, vicariously, through David, I guess, which makes the whole thing sort of weird, now, to have me questioning, about my even bringing it up at all here writing this... Oh well...too late now! And [POST] !!!
Wrestle with addiction after being a child celeb .Now this is a serious topic .I was wondering Mayiam did you apply Dare to Care steps to avoid temption .During your youth i'm sure you did.
There is something so endearing about David, his giggle makes my heart happy! Loved this interview. Stay well David. 🙂
Totally 💯, that laugh it’s so genuine!!! 😄❤️
I agree! He has a child like quality
He looks like he's slow
He's absolutely adorable. He looks so genuinely gentle and kind.
I love how David is such a kid at heart. Thank you for bringing him on.
All Arquette family is fabulous! And as Mayim says David is adorable! ❤

Mayim Bialik is an expert interviewer and her skill let David Arquette's natural storytelling shine. Thank you.
I had no idea how adorable David Arquette was!
I put this as background noise to fall asleep 😂 his laugh is so contagious I ended up smiling the whole time and didn’t sleep at all 😂
This is one of the most interesting conversations I have ever witnessed. Amazingly awesome.

One of the nicest human beings I ever met.
In the section "Struggles With Addiction", when he says, "Being a human is not easy all the time." That line is just.... SO TRUE! 😔
LOVE him! Super genuine human being 💜🦋 His laughter & smile make me feel joyful🙏🏻
