As part of Culture Mile’s progression towards becoming a Business Improvement District (BID) by March 2023, the Culture Mile Business Partnership was formed to both engage local businesses in the development of the proposed BID and oversee a series of projects that help transform the area through creativity.
Cultural Destination is one of four strategic themes that frames the work of the Business Partnership and ‘Creativity Around Every Corner’ is its lead demonstration project.
The demonstration project aims to drive City of London workers to a new EXPLORE page on the Culture Mile website that gives them the tools for self-discovery, showcases hidden gems within Culture Mile, and highlights inspiring places that strengthens their connections with the area. As part of the demonstration project, Culture Mile has commissioned three films through The Smalls to showcase what makes Culture Mile unique, focussing on three different themes: ‘Personal Connections’, ‘Food & Drinks’, and ‘Ancient & Modern’.
