@@titusmccarthy Yeah Blackberry is his best thus far. I've started to notice a trend in his films when it comes to the two main characters. They're best friends until s**t hits the fan.
This was a great panel. One of the best I've ever watched for a movie. It also seemed like Glenn, Jay, and Matt really enjoyed being apart of it. Sometimes you'll see actors, directors, writers, etc., on a panel and they just look miserable or disinterested, but not here. Matt especially is so passionate about this project and it's refreshing to see.
I could watch this talk all day. I was getting a masters in computer science at NYU (and then recently graduated) when the events in this movie took place. It was such a nutty time because the internet was coming online (pun intended) and it was sooo "wild wild west," if you will. My whole engineering career (10 years before I left) was for internet startups; I knew guys like the Blackberry guys. I LOVED the movie.
I really enjoyed this movie, I was pleasantly surprised with how funny and well written it was, all three of these guys were a blast to watch, I look forward to seeing more from Matt Johnson!
Just saw the movie on demand after not having a theater show it in my town. Loved it! I was already a fan of Matt Johnson and I will agree this is his most accessible work. Hoping people check out his older stuff now!
Jay talking about how people like people telling them stories is frighteningly similar to his character talking about people liking keyboards on phones...
hope this helps Matt get a show at the Rivoli
Matt Johnson Is totally under appreciated, he's a genius
I hope he's given a ton of film deals after this. The projects he likes to focus on are always intriguing
he cant even get a gig at the rivoli!
Really great to see Glenn Howerton, Jay Baruchel and Matt Johnson's dynamic offscreen. Wish they would work together again!
I'm glad Matt Johnson is getting more attention.
His last two movies and tv show were great.
I've given all 3 of his movies 7/10. Blackberry is probably the one most deserving of any 8/10.

@@edwardhannah8507 Yes. The Dirties was like that.
I know. I wish there were more questions for him.

Great talk, great host, great questions
Josh Lanzet was a fantastic moderator, very smart questions, super relaxed and quick! This was my first time watching one of these; great stuff!
Amazing movie. Just saw it a few nights ago. Glenn and Jay absolutely kill it
I cried since this is exactly the type of situations playing out in the corporate with regards to AI. The parallels are super interesting.
That last quesrion was really good.
Blackberry was amazing Glenn, Jay and Matt were perfection

Blackberry was soo good
Best movie of the year so far
Really entertaining talk!
Man that last question and the discussion it generated was inspiring
Great film - excellent panel, so good to hear the director talk as well
Matt Johnson is a fucking genius
I've just watched the movie last night and it's the best movie I've seen in 2023!
Dude Matt Johnson is hilarious. Jay patting him when he starts messing with the web site gal to lay off was great
damn it got too comedic at the end i love it
Jay talking about how people like people telling them stories is frighteningly similar to his character talking about people liking keyboards on phones...
Yeah it may be true, but everyone is convinced otherwise for the moment
This is Matt and Jay biggest plan yet they probably getting a show at the Rivoli after this
Good movie! Feels like Jay played himself in the movie.
Matt Johnson directing a Mass Effect sitcom based on Normandy crew members on shore leave when?
Matt’s accent joke at the end 😮😅😅
The audience questions is more entertaining & insightful.
3 brilliant dudes
I like how they described the script at 5:19. Is it available to view anywhere?
Best movie!!
nirvanna the band the show!
Google talks is still happening?
Yeah operation avalanche and the dirties don’t get enough love
That’s a nice white shirt. I am jealous.
Great movie! Saw it for Howerton but ended up being totally engrossed.
As a balding man, I found this empowering 😂😂
"Tim Horton"
❤❤❤❤❤
Cómo fue que fallaron en la única cosa que tenían que hacer bien?
Nothing more unsettling than a ultra confident bald man…it’s like cauliflower ears. You don’t wanna fuck with that..😂
moderator sounds like glenn mixed with jay
Fr, it was weird listening to this in the background
