I love how the bf wasn't afraid to set the record straight about his relationship, especially with his elders. That table of people, without knowing, were being completely disrepectful to Dr Gu's gf. She is accomplished, lovely, and loving. She didn't deserve that cold medical shoulder. I"m glad he stuck up for her.

I agree with everthing, but he could have sat next to his girlfriend, instead of sitting where they insist he sits. Culture wise he was respecting the elders, and his boss, but he could have said I want to sit next to my girlfriend. He does speak-up more than other male leads though about who he likes, and for the most part establishes boundaries with the second female lead.
@jenniferhuff4895 That's very true. He was definitely in a hard situation, but the right thing to do is set boundaries and sit next to his gf. I do agree. The others didn't know that they were being disrespectful, but these little actions show a great deal of who he loves and protects. It's not a show of dominance but respect, love, and loyalty.
@@angelabarbee6901 This is why I have never understood the whole "let's not make our relationship public yet" in these dramas. You can't blame anyone for believing you may be single if you don't make your relationship known. Not saying they need to make a public announcement to the world but when you are dating someone, you should at least make it known that you are in a committed relationship[ so people won't misunderstand and come on to your significant other or try to hook you up with someone else. It's one of those tropes I really dislike.

One of my favourite scenes in the drama Dr Gu straight up tells them that she is his girlfriend and that to stop gossiping about him and the other Dr who quite frankly has notions about being with him and he has absolutely no interest in her beyond being her work colleague they aren’t even friends outside of work. Dr Gu straight out sets them all in their place including his elders, he is very clear, well done, now go get your woman!!!❤❤

Mannn Dr. Gao is so delusional. I'm also 100% certain she never loved him - she just loved the idea of him, and how ideal it would be to have him as both her professional partner and romantic partner.

I hate when the male leads have to have these talks to the rest of the "group" and the girl who likes them. Because the people around them, the ones the scheming girl was able to get on her side. They decide to help her and pressure him. Saying lovey dovey stuff to main- male leads love interest and really putting a wedge and issues between the main couple! That really irritates me. I know people are really grimey like that in real life and women especially can do brutal things but the company they keep, also add fuel to the fire

I can’t believe Dr Gao put her entire life on hold hoping that this man would just one day decide to marry her without him even dating her once from their childhood, through college, and now in the work place. For her he’s convenient and a shoe in but to him she was just someone he knows. Even after this she still tried to pursue, scheme, and force a relationship with him. Nuts!!!

Yo èsta escena la he visto un montón de veces precisamente porque pone a todos en su lugar, sobre todoa la dra Gao.
She can't drink out of politeness, but she can when she is upset. That shows her true colors. I love the scene where he's angry and all them keep quiet knowing they went to far. Also in what kind of dreamworld does she live. The ML didn't start something with the SFL in all these years so he won't start now.
He should be ashamed of letting them pull him away , leaving her behind like that.
Some of the doctors colleagues also knew about those two, but did not correct anyone when they implied the two doctors are dating.
Dr. Gao ended up being made a fool of. She knew good and well there was nothing going on between her and Gu Wei. She should have said nothing was going on. Then she wouldn't be embarrassed. But no she sat there and ate it up.
