You're right, thats a tent which would mostly be used commercially in the civilian market, for glamping or hunting expedition purposes. It looks incredible, well done to LiteFighter. Great video Luke
It is lighter than the Russian Bear tent hexagon. Russian Bear sets up in 5 minutes like a ice fishing shelter. Plus it is double wall design and of course camouflage. It is just a bit bigger and much lesser in cost. The floor is removable all zippered in. You can get a insulated floor and one section pops up to another room or porch area. They have a accessory wall kit, I forget what they call it. I think that it is about 115 to 130 pounds. Ha, so definitely a car camping tent.
@@craig7333 It is heavy as there is a center adjustable pole to add to the center in case of heavy snowfall. You can add clear windows that velcro into place on the outside for winter. Summer the windows have 3 layers the outside closure, then a screen and then the inner liner. This being a double wall tent. A lot more going on. Plus the stakes and 2 fiberglass poles to open one wall completely open and those poles go on the end to hold up the wall that becomes a roof basically. It is a decent tent considering how much this other military one costs. I thought that this one was expensive. Ha. It does come with a stove jack as well. And they do have smaller models. It’s good to see a well made tent made from good quality materials and to know it’s out there for who needs it, like military, or people who can afford it. I was excited to see the company listened and shared the tent for testing. I was disappointed in the fact that there was no test with a good long hard rain, but Luke said he didn’t have the room in his yard to set it up to dry out. For the price of the tent, I’m sure it would test well in no leakage and good sturdy through hard winds. It was very nice to see the niceness of this tent, and also could be used as a hot tent. Thanks for sharing!
For a military grade all season tent this is excellent. You have to put civilian tents out of your head and think military tent group. A 5 man Canadian Army Artic tent weighs in at 31.5 kg. Near 75 lbs! There was also a 10 man! Scary heavy! We hauled them and all the associated gear on a huge toboggan ( not the hat ). Your tent is amazing and probably cheap for what it is designed for. Think how fast a bunch of soldiers could get that up!!!!
I have this tent. I use it during hunting season or during mountain expiditions base camp tent. I just purchased about two weeks ago and I love it. Yes, it is heavy.
I have used Litefighters for ten years and I have been nothing but impressed with their gear. I am also impressed with your review of this model. I wish I had the spare funds and a crew of folks to enjoy it. I am thinking that it would be great for ice fishing since the floor is removable. Great video. Thanks!
Exterior pockets for the guy lines is a feature that more tents should have, no doubt. So many times I wish I had those. Tangled lines are a PAIN! Awesome stuff. Last year I bought the Cabela's outback lodge. I love the tent but I was hoping for an easier set up bc it doesn't really have any traditional tent poles or pole sleeves. Unfortunately, the set up is just as painful, if not more, only in a different way. The big center pole & 4 tiny corner poles are no problem. It's the stakes that make set up a freakin B of a chore, there's like 28 of them! And they all have to be super thick stakes, driven deeply into the ground to properly work. Which of course limits you to specific locations as to where you can camp. Stretching out the guy lines adds an extra 5-6 feet to the overall footprint of the tent. It's already big enough, but you need so much extra area around the tent to run the lines out. Staking them in is an "up & down, up & down", monotonous nightmare... All the bending over, kneeling & standing back up just kills my legs. I have bad peripheral neuropathy so it ain't easy or fun. I pay for it for DAYS with sore, throbbing muscles throughout my legs. I can hardly walk for the next 2-3 days at the least. I still love the tent, it's just that set up & take down is terrible. I have the Cabela's Getaway 6 person dome & it's MUCH easier, but it doesn't hold heat as well & is much more susceptible to the wind. Although running the lines out on that tent is a piece of cake compared to the Lodge. Most the time the lines aren't even needed on the Getaway, but with the Lodge, it's absolutely necessarily to pitch the tent. The Outback Lodge is still solid as a rock though, esp in the wind & other harsh conditions (& with all those stakes, it should be.) It can take a beating (& give one) for sure. Great video & very cool tent. Thanks for sharing it.
This tent LOL I used one of these for a summer and eventually sold it on Craigslist. We use to travel and tent camp mostly weekend type trips but some week long trips. This tent was cool at first, but after setting it up after around the fourth time it was like this sucks. Literally 90% of everywhere we camped people would ask about what tent it was and where did we purchase it. When we would tell them the price they looked at us like we had a 3rd eyeball LOL This is a lot of tent, we glamped a lot and it was super nice but this thing was heavy and you could literally beat someone with the metal poles 😂 It took us 2 months to resell it and I have no regrets, it was fun to have for a summer. But when we out this in the back of my jeep or truck of the car it was like throwing a body in the trunk haha. And the tent stakes on this tent are like something you’d see out of a vampire movie! All in all it would be a real good few weeks in one spot type of tent. But the price is absolutely to high. Is it a quality tent yes, but there’s tents that are just as good for a quarter the price. Looking back through my pictures using it, man it was cool looking!
Come along way since I served back in the early 80s and 90s we had canvas with wooden poles. I am glad technology is catching up with the military instead of being in the stone ages when I served. thanks for review Luke. You are the best
In the late 80s we went to mobile flex tents. They were fairly easy to put up but the knuckles would break and weighed probably two times of these.. These tents are made for base camps and not intended to be backpacked. In the early 2000s we went to Drash...
I actually purchased this tent 3 months ago and have yet to set it up. I bought it to replace the Gazelle which I gave to my daughter. My wife and I are looking forward to setting this up and for me the money was well spent. I have acres in 2 different locations in the mountains and will be doing a review at some point soon. I pair this tent with my Dweller Max Wood Stove made by Pomoly. Thanks for your review
This tent is definitely beyond the needs of the average camper, but I am very happy our military men and women have such an excellent unit to provide some creature comfort in primitive settings thanks to LiteFighter. Great review!
Haha, I wish we were issued these. Definitely far too bulky and heavy for the average grunt. Maybe special operations/ field grade officers are using these, as for the rest of us we use two-man tents. Still high-quality, but much lower-profile and lighter in weight.
I think the floor should be zipper attached for better water and bug protection. It should come part way up the side walks bathtub style and then zip all the way around starting/stopping on the stove jack side. This would help keep water out if it pools under the tent for some reason or flows past/under it and it will also better keep bugs out because we all know if there is an opening they will find it and crawl through it to get in.
Having been one of the people actually using military tentage, I find this piece of kit impressive. Sure, it's a bit of a struggle setting up, but the bain of all soldiers is the end of op/trg teardown and move. What I would like to see is a video of a teardown stow away back in the bag after a week of use and weathering. I suspect it is like trying to stuff fifty pounds of live squid in a twenty pound bag. I am almost sure the actual stow away is just rolling everything in a big ball, wrapping it with twine and sorting it out at home, or worse, the next harbour.
Thought the same, no way is that canvas going back into the bag under anything less than ideal conditions. It's gonna get thrown on the bag of the wagons and trashed
The second I saw an unsecured floor, I was out. The tent is great, but even "secured" the floor is open enough to allow bugs, snakes, and rodents. Maybe if it was fully zippered or even Velcro, but cinching isn't enough to stop small wildlife that specializes in finding openings. Honestly, it's a very odd choice. to have an open floor that only straps and cinches.
This makes me glad i got the Winchester model 97 tent when i could. 13' x 10' - 6 person with a bathtub floor. Only $250. Found out it was $500 new. This review just made me love it more.
Lightfighter is a great company, I have many of their products and have been completely satisfied. This tent is designed for a fire team and beats the hell out of the old canvas tents we (2/75 Rangers) used in the artic!
That's a honkin' big Tent! I'm honestly surprised there isn't link-up connections to add the ISS tents to it, like a spiderweb of smaller sleeping pods connected to a main tent for a small TOC or general purpose area (cooking, etc.), kinda like the Cabela's Alaknak Modular Tent System with it's various models and components.
It reminds me of one of my old tents. It was about the same size but only a three season. I used it for family outings. With four kids under ten years old, it worked great. It only took me about thirty minutes to set it up myself and, the people that saw it were always impressed by the size and how comfortable we made it. If I could afford this tent I would definitely get it and show it off.
That is insane, but awesome. Definitely outside of my price range and possible uses, but it's still fun to see. I'd definitely be interested in their smaller offerings though since the quality is so good. Thanks for getting this and setting it up for us!
Speaking of massive... I've recently started messing with canvas tents. I acquired a Kodiak Canvas Flexbow tent and I must say, I'm really loving it. It's a car-camp-only type of thing for sure, no one I know is going to ruck this thing into the woods. Would love to see you mess around with and share your experiences in this realm.... Kodiak Canvas, White Duck, Teton Sports and so on.
Same here. Bought the 10x10 last year and absolutely love it. Granted it doesn't have a stove jack, but a buddy heater works great down to about 25 degrees. In the summer plenty of ventilation and the canvas breathes well. I have never once had any condensation issues.
Yes, my thoughts exactly. I have the 13 ft Regatta Bell Tent, and canvas is a really undervalued material if you're hauling around 50 or 60 lbs anyway. White Duck has, imo, put out a few very nice products but I haven't heavy rain tested the canvas. I'm really curious to see his thoughts on the newer canvas tents.
Very impressive. Overall, considering its capabilities, build-quality, and size, I’d say it’s worth the $4k+ price. However, I would love to see this tent holds up in all-weather conditions. But I’m sure it would do just fine. 👍
It sounds like the LiteFighter Dragoon Tent would be great for something like a quick FOB deployment, with a base structure. Thus, the HVAC ports and space. It's probably going to be a LOT cheaper too, considering some FOBs have crappy personnel spaces and limited ventilation. I like this review and this Tent seems perfect for multiple personnel as residents of a semi-temporary base of operations. Definitely would have to be transported and then placed. Unless there are ways to break the components into different transport packs, each person carrying a section.
That is how the Rich Man goes to war. Back in the 80's I used the half canvas, button-wood pole set up that the US Army used in WWII. It worked and kept me dry. But, would you really want to FOB in a tent?
@@Trapster99 I would not want the F in FOB with this giant tent. I would not want soldiers to carry this in extreme weather, on top of their 100 pounds they already carry. It would be okay if someone else would set it up for them, though. (I used to carry the US pup tent, both halves, and it was no fun, and especially not after it got wet. this was for civilian use, for a soldier with gear and weapons one half would already have been _absolutely_ NO FUN) I think this is a VERY special tent, for very special missions.
Sun Tzu famously wrote, "If an army has this size of tent, they might as well go into the house-moving business, for there is no better target drones look for than a giant sleeping arrangement."
For about 12yrs I used a Magellan 10 man tent for my camping and it served me well. However in south Texas I rarely see snow, maybe 1 every 10yrs so the Dragoon as great as it looks is probably graded for colder weather. I am however in need of a new tent and I like my space. Most tents off the shelves today just aren't big enough.
You should subject it to your overnight rain test to see how it hold up and breathes and how long it takes to dry out, if possible there or at another location with space.
Seems like an awesome tent with a lot of modular options for a temporary setup. It's big and expensive because of it. You have a lot of ways to run water and air into and out of it, cook in it, small operations and so on. I honestly would want to try living in it for a year just to stress test the hell out of it because I doubt it's going to last 3 months of casual use before something goes wrong.
I am curious as to whether or not you are going to use the tent and preform all of the other tests that you usually do on other tents? I am initially impressed by this and it appears that it would make a great base camp for hunting. The weight of the tent is actually lighter than my canvas wall tents. Looking forward to you putting it through it's paces if that is your intention.
@@ToasterDsG The US military and US government pays $500 for a pencil, $1000 dollars for a screw driver. You tax payers are paying dearly for it. That is ok with you?? You must be a democrat!!
It’s freaking awesome! I would definitely get it to replace my canvas wall tent for extended hunting trips if it were about $2,000 less. Believe it or not that thing is less than half the weight of my wall tent for nearly the same footprint. The stove jack is the most important feature for me, then the storm worthiness and snow loading capability. Cool tent, too much dinero for this poeboy!
The tent looks amazing and would fit my family of 5 with room to spare, but I can't stomach that price tag. That is insane, even for the materials and quality, that seems incredibly inflated.
Your right about the price and size, its better for group outdoor trips or resorts that offers expeditions. My first thought was, since I was was, this is an item that Boy Scouts would love to utilize on their trips.
It’s impressive. I do a lot of camping but I’m 5’2 140lbs and prefer an instant tent that I can put my queen size air mattress in and on those rainy or snow days I also have portable folding tables that fits perfect inside. I usually have a big tarp that they tent sits on and I can pull over the top for additional overlapping the tent just in case I want to cook outside.
Thanks for the first impression. The tent looks great with all the added functions. I can definitely see it used for military and civilian situation. Pretty cool tent.
Working 35 years for Sikorsky Aircraft, makers of the UH 60 Blackhawk helicopter I know the military is obsessed with quality as they should be. This must be an awesome tent if our soldiers are using and depending on this.
I have the Crua Tri, that thing is about 55lbs, and for 3 ppl only and takes me and my buddy about 40 min to set up. I hear you when you say this military tent is hard to wrestle. Also not the easiest to put back into the original bag. Would love it if you can get your hands on the crua tri and review it for us.
I recently purchased their 10’x10’ rip stop nylon tarp, and I love it. Great company, great service. Berry Complaint military supplier, so it’s 100% US made.
Those were the same tent stakes we used when the Army issued me a Eureka Tent with the cover extension that Ive used in my 3 deployments to Iraq. Those stakes are heavy duty for sure. However, That tent system is similar to the DRASH tent system that usually a Battalion or Brigade level uses. I wonder if they would sell these to us vets. Update: I take that back...This tent system is a giant Eureka tent system in the sense it uses the exact same tent pole setup. but this tent can accomodate up to a crew of four...This is what will replace the GP Medium tents
While I am not a camper type person I (where is the nearest Best Western??) I really appreciate your presentation. And your honesty, more importantly your honesty. Nicely done. I have a few ex military friends who may be interested in the tent .. so i will pass along.
Yes, it is a Resort style tent, or a Hunting Expedition ($$$) level tent. If I were guiding Big Wigs out into the bush, and they paid top dollar, yeah, this tent is the way to go. Not mentioned: You don't have to bend down and contort to put your cloths on, it is tall enough for a six foot adult, or adults to stand up inside with comfort to put on cloths and gear. That is a big plus for most people.
It sure is nice, but there's no porch area. You have nowhere to gear up / down without opening the main room. That's bad news in very hot or very cold conditions, particularly if you have crampons on.
It is very interesting to see what engineering put into an expedition class. Some of the basic stuff is there, poles, vents, zippers, stakes, cords. Try getting an AC mechanic to service the unit at your tent.
That's a tent for going to campgrounds, hunting, and having an ATV to be able to haul it to the camping site, as you said. At that price point, it seems that the Russian Bear Hot Tent might be a better option being that it costs a little less. Thanks for your content.
A 'hell' of a tent no doubt. Would have loved it early in my married life camping with the growing family. Way out of my price range of a retired old man. Plus the boss no longer camps - hotels or it's a no go. I miss camping in the Upper Michigan and Wisconsin areas. Take care - everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving. Take care - be safe and always God Bless.
Those round openings look like the snow tunnels that my old North Face VE24 mountain tent have. You would crawl thought those in snowstorms avoiding opening the doors letting the snow in.
I feel like there’s SOME SERIOUS QUALITY right there. I am curious AS TO the “Heavy” poles though..ARE THEY justy a bigger/stronger ALUMINUM? Definately not one you’d want to tear down, pack away..just to re-deploy it @ another campsite 8-10 hours later. I could see it MORE as it’s obviously intended: Expedition mode or SEMI-lengthy stays in one place. I’d have it in a heartbeat..wow, NICE! Great review (BET you’ll regret sending that one back huh?)
Know rain or snow defector, heavy snow build up means less sleep. love to see vids of this tent at -10f or better just to see if you can sleep few hr's while useing wood stove, or how hold up to crazy temp change over few years, cost way more then the one we all know. more test pls
One word- Ginormis. They didn't have nice ones like this through my military career but we did have GP Mediums, etc.., and always had plenty of help setting them up. This is not meant for a single person in any way. It is in a way on the pricey side but that's what you get when you want quality. Great review Luke. Tell Susie Hi as well. Gods Peace and Blessings my friend~
Oh wow, that is totally awesome. To bad they won’t let you keep it. I hope you get a chance to camp in it. That I would like to see on a really rainy night. Beautiful…..🙋🏻♀️🥰
That tent did not seem better than an all season canvas wall tent , except that it’s more portable. Walk tents are not cheap either and can come w/floor liner and rain cover, plus attachable kitchen screened tent. Most walk tents can be put together with one person, but best w/2 people. I think the seller in this military tent is that it’s portable and 1 person can easily put it up, plus quality materials w/snow loading friendly. Walk tents do far well in snow. Too bad it’s so expensive, I think many would enjoy and love this tent. 😊
My camping buddies were military gear designers for MSR and about 10 years ago we tested a tent that attached to the back of a Stryker vehicle that they charged $10,000 for. Not sure if it ever went into production, but that's the most expensive tent I've ever been in.
I want one. I can easily see the use of this in providing emcomm to hospitals and borrowing some of their space to set it up. Further with the A\C ducting its really ready made to snake antenna coax and solar panel connections into a dry electronics safe structure to operate an emergency radio as backup communications in the event of an earthquake or tsunami. Yep I live on the Oregon Coast.
So is there a tarp or cover that can go over the entire thing to protect it from rain and is there a base water resistant floor that can be added to it?
I have in fact seen bigger and thicker tent poles. They are for a all seasons canvas tent. They are like 1" diameter aluminum poles. It is basically a tent you set up for events.
I think it’s awesome. Best part is it being available for the Civilian Market. Yeah it’s pricey, but if you have a small group of friends who love to camp out, this would be awesome. I mean an eight man tent? Unheard of. Great review my friend. 👍
Clearly a very expensive tent but definitely worth it for what I've seen. All the stuff you get with it and the tent itself is clearly extremely durable and it's what you might call bulletproof. If there's a tent you want for the most harsh conditions you can possibly camp in this would be a good selection.
At 12.57, You said this tent may not fit on your deck and you would have to trim back the bushes in your yard, well you know its be said that if you trim your bush, it makes your deck look bigger 😁🙏
Looks like a great military tent, engineered to last and face the weather. Lightfighter offering it to the civvy market, most users will be commercial as joe public will not have much use for it on size and cost factors. I was disappointed in the fact that there was no test with a good long hard rain, but Luke said he didn’t have the room in his yard to set it up to dry out.
VP
"Military grade" just means it passes the bare minimum requirements using the cheapest possible materials and cost.
"Think just how fast a bunch of soldiers could get that up"... 5 days 3 hours and 56 minutes, perhaps a little bit longer if they were air men..
I have this tent. I use it during hunting season or during mountain expiditions base camp tent. I just purchased about two weeks ago and I love it. Yes, it is heavy.
You’re content is absolutely amazing greetings from the UK I’m now disabled, I love watching your adventures.
Inbox me I would love to ask you something please 🙏🏿
That's not right it takes to long to put up and take down.
Trust me, we got better stuff than this and it’s actually cheap as hell😅😅😅😅😅😅
I think the floor should be zipper attached for better water and bug protection. It should come part way up the side walks bathtub style and then zip all the way around starting/stopping on the stove jack side. This would help keep water out if it pools under the tent for some reason or flows past/under it and it will also better keep bugs out because we all know if there is an opening they will find it and crawl through it to get in.
definitely. everything was great till the floor, which just looks wet and buggy to me.
It's designed for military use. Durability is the number one consideration. Keeping bugs out is about last on the military list of wants
@@WillieBrownsWeiner Bugs make sick men. Sick men cant fight
@@rainnants that's why they issue bug juice

Having been one of the people actually using military tentage, I find this piece of kit impressive. Sure, it's a bit of a struggle setting up, but the bain of all soldiers is the end of op/trg teardown and move. What I would like to see is a video of a teardown stow away back in the bag after a week of use and weathering. I suspect it is like trying to stuff fifty pounds of live squid in a twenty pound bag. I am almost sure the actual stow away is just rolling everything in a big ball, wrapping it with twine and sorting it out at home, or worse, the next harbour.
😅😅😅😅 nobody use this thing ever
Thought the same, no way is that canvas going back into the bag under anything less than ideal conditions. It's gonna get thrown on the bag of the wagons and trashed
You are doing a significant presentation, so you should be able to keep it!!! Be kind to each other. Stay safe. Love to all
Would be impressed to see you get it packed up again - that's often the most difficult thing!
Thanks!
I love it when you say my friends it's very personal and I appreciate Luke you are also our friend!
That is a beast of a tent for sure lol. Can't wait for review of it in action. Awesome first look my friend!!!
This makes me glad i got the Winchester model 97 tent when i could. 13' x 10' - 6 person with a bathtub floor. Only $250. Found out it was $500 new. This review just made me love it more.
This tent is something else! Can't wait to see it set up. What an incredible tent! I'd feel very secure in that. "The ultimate tent"
Umm - this heavy crap got only 5000mm water protection. For 4k it should be at least gore tex, carbon poles and only 25lb.!
The mad man actually did it. He got a hold of this freaking tent.
(I used to carry the US pup tent, both halves, and it was no fun, and especially not after it got wet. this was for civilian use, for a soldier with gear and weapons one half would already have been _absolutely_ NO FUN)
I think this is a VERY special tent, for very special missions.
Sun Tzu famously wrote, "If an army has this size of tent, they might as well go into the house-moving business, for there is no better target drones look for than a giant sleeping arrangement."
@@couchcamperTM Yeah, in extreme weather. Incase we go to war with Greenland.
@@Porkchop1967 😄
$300 dollars tops. Any one who pays over 300 dollars is a FOOL!!
@@jeffjohnson5053 Most high end tent setups cost way more than that.
@@ToasterDsG The US military and US government pays $500 for a pencil, $1000 dollars for a screw driver. You tax payers are paying dearly for it. That is ok with you?? You must be a democrat!!
If I was going to live in a tent, this would be the one!
Naked ?
It’s freaking awesome! I would definitely get it to replace my canvas wall tent for extended hunting trips if it were about $2,000 less. Believe it or not that thing is less than half the weight of my wall tent for nearly the same footprint. The stove jack is the most important feature for me, then the storm worthiness and snow loading capability. Cool tent, too much dinero for this poeboy!
That's one absolute beast of a tent. The build quality is insane.
The tent looks amazing and would fit my family of 5 with room to spare, but I can't stomach that price tag. That is insane, even for the materials and quality, that seems incredibly inflated.
You can get a tent just as well made under $1000!!
Some unrealistic comments here. Maybe these two should check all the positive comments and reconsider.
Your right about the price and size, its better for group outdoor trips or resorts that offers expeditions. My first thought was, since I was was, this is an item that Boy Scouts would love to utilize on their trips.
8 second's in and I'm saying "need a military truck to haul it" Go Luke, love your channel.
I would love this for my family when we do our longer camping trips.
Fantastic tent ⛺️. Reminds me of the Eureka Equinox 8-10 person tent (which is a breeze to setup, 4-season tent and great in top winds).
My uncle, a deep Appalachian resident, slept camped out as long as you been born has never bought a tent.
Do I need a tent like this? No.
Do I want a tent like this? Uh, yeah!
That tent is a BEAST!!! Liking it, very much. Thanks Luke!!!
Love it! Perfect for use with ATV hauling ability. Costly but you only live once!
US Army SFAB Advisor teams would likely benefit from this tent. 4-12 man teams that travel pretty light (single ISU 90) would be pretty awesome.
It’s an Alaskan Guide Tent for the military. Great design. I love mine!
Artic oven hot tent is way better
A 'hell' of a tent no doubt. Would have loved it early in my married life camping with the growing family. Way out of my price range of a retired old man. Plus the boss no longer camps - hotels or it's a no go. I miss camping in the Upper Michigan and Wisconsin areas. Take care - everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving. Take care - be safe and always God Bless.
“The boss.” Truly the comment of a married man.

Those round openings look like the snow tunnels that my old North Face VE24 mountain tent have. You would crawl thought those in snowstorms avoiding opening the doors letting the snow in.
This a good companion to my Vaude Mark XT 4P all season. Wilderness with an entire Family and Dogs, Its the one i was seeking for
Definitely an impressive piece of kit for someone who needs a shelter that large and can afford it.
I would love to see an adventure with it.
I'd love this tent. I have owned a berghaus xl4 and that was brilliant. But this is another world in tents!
Thank You Luke, LOVE this episode on this tent.
Know rain or snow defector, heavy snow build up means less sleep. love to see vids of this tent at -10f or better just to see if you can sleep few hr's while useing wood stove, or how hold up to crazy temp change over few years, cost way more then the one we all know. more test pls
Holy cow wow awesome and beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Thanks for your sharing this awesome tent wow huge :-) but beautiful 🥰.
Superb tent and great for Irish weather as it rains a lot here
Much better than the canvas GP tents, perfect for a squad, which is what you’d need to set it up.
I'd like to see the quality of the zippers you never said anything about them!
My first AT thru hike my pack weighed 70lbs (normal for that time). So I could’ve cared that tent, 5 days of food, and a sleeping bag 😂
Oh wow, that is totally awesome. To bad they won’t let you keep it. I hope you get a chance to camp in it. That I would like to see on a really rainy night. Beautiful…..🙋🏻♀️🥰
Awesome tent, thx for showing it off
Great video! With the removable floor, you could easily use this for ice fishing!
Great review. I don’t camp but I do love your videos. Thank you Luke
One question...
After tearing down the tent, how easy was it to fit back into that "suitcase"?????
So is there a tarp or cover that can go over the entire thing to protect it from rain and is there a base water resistant floor that can be added to it?
Is the tent modular so it can be added to another? I think at that kind of money I'd much rather have a Hilleberg Atlas/Stalon XL.
It’s great. I remember what it was like to put up a GP medium tent.
I have in fact seen bigger and thicker tent poles. They are for a all seasons canvas tent. They are like 1" diameter
aluminum poles. It is basically a tent you set up for events.
Omg…the perfect tent, this is such a tease video lol. Wish I would have had this back in 2021.
Crazy question …. Is there a fly for storm and/or winter camping?
I bought one bigger with vents and such for less than 200. And it had a entrance mat on the outside and an optional dividing wall.
Nope artic oven has it beat
At 12.57, You said this tent may not fit on your deck and you would have to trim back the bushes in your yard, well you know its be said that if you trim your bush, it makes your deck look bigger 😁🙏
Looks like a great military tent, engineered to last and face the weather. Lightfighter offering it to the civvy market, most users will be commercial as joe public will not have much use for it on size and cost factors. I like it, we could afford it, but it does not fit into our bug out plan! Well done for securing a review of the tent Luke, as ever you bring the gear to the channel we get to see it, hear your honest comments and decide if it is for us or not.
I don't understand why they didn't seal the floor? That's usually where most of your wind chill comes from?
AWESOME!!! Freedom for all people...
