I hear a lot of UA-camrs not liking this ship because of the high side profile, weak armor and so/so guns. I think they try to play it differently than it was intended and get frustrated. It's not a swiss army knife sort of ship, but a niche ship that when played correctly, can be rewarding. Players have become accustomed to the paper super cruisers, but this ship seems more realistic and therefore, not doesn't have all the gimmicks.
Funny how that is considered a heavy cruiser but a gouden leeuw isnt, every cruiser needs asw planes if i play my GL i cant contest a sub as long as it stays far enough away seeing as depth charges would require there to be a pissing distance to be able to hit a sub kinda sad
I have the Perth and Brisbane, the creeping smoke always suffers from a huge cool down, I.e. From when you first activate it it's like another 5 Min before you can hit it again, longer duration makes it worse in a way. I assume this suffers from the same issue?
That's... actually a very good point. I think that you're right, top grade gunner might very well be a troll skill on this. Very good point. But maybe it's worth it for fighting destroyers or when you are being pushed into? I'm not sure. I wonder if smoke affects it, but I was thinking rather that even if smoke doesn't affect it your standard concealment is pretty low.

Yeah, at T10 she definitely can't fulfill every role, but as a support ship she feels pretty nice to play.

Eh, what do you mean? Gouden Leeuw is definitely a heavy cruiser. It has very high caliber guns.

Yes it does. The cooldown is definitely long, but your base concealment itself is pretty decent too. Just have to plan ahead.
What is that mod doing that shows a circle above the ship you are targeting? Its changing colours.
Traffic light mod, shows if going forward, static or reversing

Man that AP is WEAKSAUCE. I think the Ibuki has better AP pen.
I would hope so. This thing has a lot more going for it than just the guns compared to Ibuki.
