What does the oldest castle in Ukraine look like - Dubno Castle

🏛 Castle in Dubno is a unique fortress that has never succumbed to the enemy. Dubna Castle withstood all assaults. ⚔ It had strong fortress walls, was surrounded by a deep moat, which was constantly replenished by the river Ikva. And also contained inside a powerful arsenal of weapons 🗡, which were made at its own foundry. In addition, under the castle were wide passages with a rich supply of provisions. Therefore, no siege had a chance.
😍 Today Dubno Fortress is in very good condition. Its restoration continues. And inside there is a museum. Here you can see the dungeons for torture, see the sculptures of the XVII century, visit the laughter room, appreciate the unique collection of coins of princes and even shoot a bow 🏰.
