A Veiled Asset doesn’t contribute its bonus stats to a Test - at around 11:00 when you confronted the Stranger you veiled an Asset to gain a Confront action, but still used its +1 in the test. Also at around 17:00 you Relocated to a location; when you do this you do not have to reveal an encounter if the location is empty, as it is not a Move Action. You can Search if you want as a separate action. This is why relocate Loot tokens or Trophies are so useful!
At 22:00 when you use your loot token to gain a market action, are you sure you can just perform a market action wherever you are? Usually a location will say that you can perform a market action at it (eg the Shrine) or a (Map) effect on an encounter card would specify that you can perform a market action there. Worth checking the rule here.
Ricky Royal that’s good to know then, thanks! Makes life a little easier - actually the little image of the peddler on the loot token does imply he pops up out of nowhere and starts trading half way up a mountain!
My copy arrived yesterday looking forward to getting it on the table. Spent the day making a custom box insert out of foam core and found some card dividers at Boardgamegeek/Gloom of Kilforth/Files section that I printed out.
@@TheFewzz It has plain dividers but they have no label text. There is a space for hand writing a label on it. I printed out ones with labeling on them instead
At 16:25 you relocated to Heaven’s Gate. It’s a long time I played the game but wasn’t there a rule that says that when you relocate, you don’t draw a location card?
Great playthrough! my copy is on its way :) btw an updated top 10 favorite solo games for the quarantine period would be AAA+
Paco Lorca García I need that too!
