Thanks for the video! I'm considering ordering the 826's. I had a pair of the Linton's for a few days but had to return them because they were boomy in my room placement and I felt like I was reaching to hear cymbal crashes. I think that front ported is my only option.
I love mine . Bought them on clearance . Hooked ‘‘em up to a Onkyo rx rz50 . I’m thrilled. SVS PB1000Pro . Un cap the plugs for movies put plugs back for music . It’s great and I spent very little.
Zach, since you carry both Martin Logan & Focal, could you give a comparison between ML 20i & the floorstanding Chora by Focal? Thanks for all your video's.
Crutchfield has them on sale for $699USD(!!!), so I just ordered...7 for my music/home theater setup. I'll get a Monoprice Monolith 7x200 to drive them and use my existing Onkyo TX-RZ820 as the pre-amp out so I can now use the Onkyo's amplifier section to run outdoor speakers (my living room shares the outer wall with my covered patio). They're backordered but I got the price locked, can't wait!
That's a SMOKING deal(!), even better than the deal Crutchfield has (I just ordered 7 @ $699USD), though shipping to the US probably accounts for the about $100USD/ea difference. Enjoy!
Hey Zach love the product videos. Could you tell us more about in home consultations if available with regard to Speakers placements and what would work in the space available.
Focal Chora 816 has great sound for this price. They can be matched with almost all stereo amplifiers, realy great for tube amplifiers. Sound is clear, bass is controlled well, wide music scene but... but quality of this speakers is just low. It's high chance you will return it to the shop after week, because the veneer will peel off.
Beautiful mountains in the background, I'd almost say (leaning towards) CO, or maybe MT, but from the short glimpses of them I can't quite place it. Where is that?
@@1ufcfanatic795 he is saying he had the headphones and while I can't speak to why he is comparing the headphones to these are beyond me. I own the Focal chora setup for my home theater and they are on point! Hand built and tested and very elegant 👌👍

Got the 826D. Awesome speakers. Hard to beat in this price range. 800 USD in Switzerland.

They do not dig deep at 50hz at the low end. I am suprised given the driver configuration and size ..
