    Ahh Mr daily good to see you sir 👍🏾
    Your pond running cost makes my eyes water somewhat 😳 then again if I remember correctly the heater isn't an inverter 🤔
    If I were you I'd not get a new bike and swap out the heater instead that way you can buy all the new bikes you could ever dream of with the running cost savings.
    Koi are looking well buddy 👌🏾

    • @koidiaries
      @koidiaries  2 роки тому +1

      I didnt think £3 was too bad to run the pond lol, no new bike?? Are you mental? It will probably be next year anyway but i need to squirrel some pennies away for that. A new ASHP is deffo on the cards at some point, but too many other things to spend on at present, the garden is depressing me so thats the first thing hopefully

    Nice your back Andy. I've fitted latching RCD trip plugs to each pump, air pump UV etc. Because we get the odd power cut, and when they trip out, they automatically reset. Also by having separate ones for each pump etc. If I get a short I know what is shorting out rather than one trip switch for three sockets. They're only about 12 quid each on amazon. Peace of mind for little money and plugging them in. They must be latching or they're sometimes called passive. Hope this helps

    Zinc tablets and a hot curry once a week keeps the lurgy away Andy 👌 100 quid a month is not bad mines 190 now! 🤦‍♂️

    • @koidiaries
      @koidiaries  2 роки тому

      Ha we tend to have a curry once a week, I honestly think its long Covid, usually if i get poorly it will be a 24hour thing, but somehow now im ill every month FFS, unless its just as im getting old! Yeah its painful when you look at costs of running a pod let alone it you want to get a fish or upgrade equipment, hence bot being crazy with heating this year when air temps are cool, i need to be sensible

    Hi Andy
    You said £3 a day running cost, is that with ashp running aswell? Awesome footage as usual 👌👍

    • @koidiaries
      @koidiaries  2 роки тому +1

      No, remember though its a rough guess, if the washing machine had been on a few times and cooker, kettle etc then it would take away from my £3 guesstimate. To top the pond up 1.5 degrees cost about £1 to £1.50 i think roughly depending on air temps. ASHP is on now and electric shows its £1.20 more than normal for this time in morning and pond is at 16c so heater will go off in a bit.

    • @scottgifford2751
      @scottgifford2751 2 роки тому

  • @RaymondStarr007
    @RaymondStarr007 2 роки тому +1

    Hundred pound a month for the pond and then I would say you are paying for the house per month at least two hundred making your bill £300 then food £150 week it’s sure is a crazy world we are living in

    • @koidiaries
