It is RELO Andes webinar day! Join English Language Specialist, Janine Matts, who will be presenting The Effect of the Affective Filter: Motivation in the English Classroom in our webinar session this April 18th at 2.00pm Peru time.
Janine will talk about the affective filter, first put forth by Dulay and Burt in 1977 and later adapted to language teaching by Krashen and others. She will discuss the theoretical background based on language acquisition theory as well as practical applications in the EFL classroom including techniques to increase motivation and decrease anxiety in students.
