Apologies for the abrupt/loud music moments-- I paid for a royalty-free song that I used in this, but despite that it was flagged by the creator as copyrighted, so I had to use some of UA-cam's stock music to cover it up, and use their new feature that allows you to mute the song (which makes the narration sound muffled), lol.
I added brown weathering powder to that jacket and used it for my mezco style Indiana Jones. Finished it about 2 days before mezco announced theirs. Another great video! Really enjoying your videos and comics.
Thank you so much for checking them out! Haha, that has happened to me so many times; I make a figure that doesn't exist and then an official one gets announced right after, lol. The good news is you'll have an Indy on your shelf for the 2-3 years Mezco takes to release theirs, haha.
With the spray painting it looks like your doing heavy coats, and probably too close to the piece, I’ve found 6/8 inches away works the best, light coats with sweeping passes. and I know impatience gets the best of us and we wanna paint stuff while it’s fresh on us but try and spray stuff in the day time lol the sun helps a lot with the way the paint, paints if that makes sense, custom is awesome, never stop!
Thank you for the tips and encouragement, man! This is all stuff that I know, but I don’t DO, lol. You’re totally right: Patience is key. I’m often doing this stuff in a limited time window and I let that get the better of me a lot of times. Slowing down and being mindful of the long term finished piece is something I’m trying to be better about. Especially now that the nice weather is done where I live and I can’t rely on the sun to help speed things up, haha. Much appreciated, bro! 🙏🏼
Thanks brother! YES, haha. I like their slim one better, but it's a bit too tall and even harder to find. I hope other companies start making the slimmer one.
Thanks! It would be awesome if they did-- companies usually make figures that I thought were never gonna happen once I make a custom, so we'll see, haha.
Another question, you said you painted with spray paint... Would acrylic catch on this too? If i would try this also on a 1:10 maitso non black harley.
Acrylic would, yes. You would need to sand the parts of the bike that you want to paint first, though (which I did on mine before spray painting). With acrylic it wouldn’t have any gloss to it, though. it would likely be a very flat black, and you would have brush lines from the bristles. So just keep that in mind.
Thank you! I know the one you're talking about-- the Great Twins figure! Absolutely stunning figure, but I missed it when it came out and it's like $250 now 😭
@@Ibrahim_M eek! i had no idea it jumped up that much! i had seen a while back some china sellers with the suit for reasonable, if you can finf it's top notch, down to the tie offs on the back and tiny zippers, the gwtoys body is also great for jacked up customs and comes with boots (same size but better build as mezco conan)
@@JoeMama___... It does! I honestly thought about swapping the body out halfway through this build, but I decided that it was better to use the mixmax on a body that had somewhat loose-fitting clothes. That's what those are best for, imho. Something more form-fitting definitely needs a Zero Body or a GW. Oof, yeah the details on the Great twins one are really stellar. I saw they solicited a T1000 as well, but it doesn't look like it released. Not stateside, at least. A few in China on eBay, but you can never tell when it's a scam or a KO when they just use the solicitation pics.
I’m excited to see more terminator figs! Love your work man!! I’m sorry your year hasn’t been great, but i have no doubt your channel is going to continue to grow!
As always a nice custom..I reached this video, searching for bike for Mafex T2. Any chance you have it and does it scale with it? Or if you don't have have the Mafex please do let me know how tall you custom stand, then I can make a guess. :)
Thank you! This bike is a 1/10 scale, and the figure is about 6.25 inches tall. I think because the Mafex figures are a little smaller, you can actually use a 1/12 bike for it (that would be too small for this figure). And the good news is that they are much easier to find in 1/12 than in 1/10)
@@Ibrahim_M thank you. I have tried to find 1/12 Fatboy and it's comes as a surprise that for HD Fatboy 1991 model there is no 1:12 versions available, some kits were made but hard to find them now :)
You're welcome! I remember this 1/10 version being very hard to find, too. I'll have to look up a review of hte Mafex to see if I can get a better idea of the size of it
Great work! Do you remember where did you find this bike and also if you can tell what from what material did you make the strips? I didnt get it from the movie. Thanks. I am a subscriber as of now ;)
Thank you very much! I found the bike on eBay, and the stripes are made from colored electrical tape. I cut it into very thin strips with an exacto knife. Important note: I used a clear gloss spray paint to seal the black paint and the tape stripes in place. The tape usually stays on its own but I wanted to be sure that it would. Thanks, Amir!
@@Ibrahim_M hi again. Found this bike on ebay and started to customize it also. One question, how did you disassemble the gas tank. I did mange to disassemble the other parts as you showed. Thanks again.
@@amirhe6 hi Amir! Man, I tried very hard and I could not get that gas tank off at all. So I covered the rest of the bike with tape and paper and just painting the tank while it was still connected to the bike.

It would be cool to see your version of the young John Conner on his dirt bike 👍👍

Hi Ibrahim!!!!! Great work dude!!!!!! Wich bike is that????🤔🤔........I would like to pose my Neca Terminator with one!!!!
Thanks very much! It should scale perfectly with the Neca figure! The bike info is at 2:12!
Nice work, I've been trying to find a Maisto 1/10 scale here in Peru, unfortunately all I see is 1/18 scale.
Thank you! Yeah, a 1/10 was even a bit hard to find here in the states as well. Best of luck in your search, my friend!
For t800 phicen got tm02 action body wich more specified for Arnold.
It’s a really amazing body but unfortunately it’s too small for the bike. The phicen is a “true 1/12”, so it’s more in scale with figures like SHF.
