That was great that you picked up the garbage that blew away unlike some other people.
I've used several of these heat pump type coolers, and they all say that they are capable of reducing the temperature inside by only 40 degrees F. The temperature in a hot car or trailer in the summer months, can easily exceed 120 degrees F, so fresh foods can easily spoil. I've found that nothing works better than a solid block of ice in a well insulated cooler.
yep, fill it with ice when you go and can last a weekend. Even on longer hauls, a fresh bag of ice is literally just 2 bucks and literally every store has it
Can it be use outside the car at home
Amazing products and honest review ✌️ same coldness with Air-conditioning room window type... 22 degrees is enough cold but the mini fridge reach to 39F is equivalent to 15 degrees amazing product even this product is just made in China

No, you'd need a converter.
can i put water inside? so that i can submerge the cans/bottle on the water. to make it distribute the cold faster? what do you think?
nicsism id line it with a plastic bag first, out the water in the bag rather than directly in the cooler

Just to ask can i store food in here like meat, vegetables and fruits? And can I live this fridge On like 3 days or week of straight use?
I bought one of these. It gets hot it dors not cool down. They sent me a replacement that also gets hot but does not cool down at all. I wonder how to fix it? Lot of wasted product otherwise...

I'm glad I found your video. I bought the exact same cooler but all the instructions were in Chinese. Now I know what it can do. I'm headed up to my camp on the lake for a couple weeks. And there's no electricity. Just gas powered lights and stove. I bring a couple of coolers of ice for the food. How long will this keep the drinks cold after its unplugged?
Oh, I'd say it will keep your beverages cool where they will still taste good, for 4-5 hours if kept in the shade. Maybe longer. if you put them in cold, it will help the cooler keep it cold/colder.
It is low power, so even a few deep cycle batteries could keep it running for a week or longer without recharge. You could recharge batteries off your vehicle.

Apparently, my mother has a built in one of these in her lincoln. It actually does have a Freezer mode, tried it on a few pints of ice cream. 8 hours and it was still frozen!
+KmanAuto all my instructions were in Chinese so I don't know how to do anything but plug it in and turn it on. is there a way to adjust the temperature like you do on your fridge? Because I just had some bottled water I took straight out of the fridge and put it in the cooler and tried it for the first time. The water was in the cooler for well over 4 hours and the water wasn't as cold as it was when I took it out the fridge. if there is a way to adjust the temperature control that would be fantastic!
Not at this price level. That adjustable one was Lincoln designed and installed in her car.
You could operate it at a higher voltage. Or replace the thermometric heat pump with a higher wattage one. They are actually very cheap.
Can it preserve frozen goods such as meat for 3 days or so?

yes, the fan starts as soon as you turn on the unit and it will not shut off. This is what you want. It must turn on immediately and stay on the entire time the thermal electric unit is active.
The peltier coolers I've seen usually weren't all that effective. A shame peltier is so inefficient, otherwise solid state cooling would be nifty.
Yours does seem to work somewhat so I figure that if you buy some blue styrofoam sheet, inch or more and stick on all sides with say spray glue, it will be dramatically more effective. You will have yourself an actual fridge.
Can you draw 12V from the car when it's off without depleting the 12v battery? if you can, that's infinitely more elegant than carrying a lead acid more.
Inefficient, yes, but considering what they can accomplish with no moving parts, and in such a small space. I had a wine cooler, that had a 70 Watt peltier, that after running for a week, actually froze the wine! It was more or less something I was just playing with, I now that that in storage. When I build my next PC, I will build it Inside the Wine Fridge. The additional cooling will be very nice when I'm rendering.
Yes, I can draw 12v without depleting. When the 12v gets low, the HV Pack kicks in to top off the 12v I got rid of the 100lbs 120Ah deep cycle in the trailer, replaced it with a 15lbs 20Ah one in the rear. I want it to have some independent power, so I got a lot of weight savings, and it was able to run the trailers lights for about 4 straight days. Or the circulation and exhaust fan from the interior for 2 days. I will be working on a attachment to recharge that 12v battery from the car.
I have a Automatic charger to recharge the trailer battery whenever it is plugged intot he 120v source.
Is it ok to store fish here? Or meat?

Mine not cooling properly. Could be the AC/DC converter.
the Peltier cooling chip takes the 12v directly, so make sure no wires are damaged or disconnected
@@KmanAuto checked the connector, it's leads are blacked, I was using old connecter, try to get new connector and try again.

thermal electric portable coolers are designed to cool from room temperature too cold. they're designed to take already cool or cold items and maintain that called considerably longer, without the need to continuously add ice.

Can this be plugged in a normal socket?
12v only. You can get a adapter (I have one) that allows you go plug into a 120v (or 240 for non USA) socket. Thats what I did when camping. Had it plugged in in the car, and when we were camping had it plugged into the 120v with the 120v to 12v DC adapter.

Ive used it on 4 camping trips now, of 2 weeks each. No spoilt food problems thus far.

to store below 25 C degrees and avoid big humidity

can you be a little more specific?I know it's designed for 12, I'd have to look up to see if it's capable for up to 24 V. personally, I'd say just get yourself a cheap five dollar adjustable voltage regulator from China, can be found on eBay, and I think your best has them too, and regulate the voltage down to approximately 13 or 14 V to be on the safe side

This device will cool drinks to about 10 degrees Celcius, not the optimal 3-5 degrees Celcius for such drinks as soft drink and Juice. Okay for water.
I bought an adapter so I can use it in the bedroom.
It takes time to cool, about 1 to 2 degrees per hour, thus not really suitable for a car unless you intend to drive for ten hours.
A much better option for the CAR would be to get an esky with ice and put the drinks in cold, faster, cheaper and more effective.
Do not buy for car, it takes too long to cool, temperature not low enough...get a cheap ice esky instead.
Gearbest never ever again…
