- Solo camping is more than just an adventure-it’s a journey of self-discovery, fear, and resilience. In this video, we dive deep into the untold truths of solo camping: the moments of solitude that challenge us, the fears that hold us back, and the beauty that emerges when we face them head-on.
From the thrill of being alone in nature to the quiet moments that teach us the power of presence, solo camping reveals more than just stunning views and quiet nights. It’s about learning to trust ourselves, embrace the unknown, and push through the discomfort to discover what we’re truly capable of.
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s really like to camp alone in the wild, or if you’re thinking about taking the leap yourself, this video will show you what solo camping is all about-and why it might just be the most rewarding experience you’ve ever had.
My brother, I am so glad that your video came across my homepage. I look forward to seeing more content like this from you. I recently am getting into the outdoor and camping lifestyle myself and have been looking for people that look like me to connect with. There are so few of us that do stuff like this (which isn't an issue), and it makes my heart warm to know there are other people out here like me. Keep pushing. Much love.
Thanks for watching and I’m glad you’re connecting with nature. Try to find hiker groups local and if you’re in the area hit me up.
Hey man! Loved the video! Great stuff 🎉
Going to be headed your way in a few months. Always looking for likeminded people to connect with.
Just found the channel. Great job! Alan watts 1:41 is a beautiful touch with the background music. Think I might have to subscribe…. Yep 👍 😊
I really appreciate you taking the time to watch. Glad you enjoyed it and decided to sub. Don’t forget to hit that notification bell! Haha.
Great video! It’s refreshing to see something that’s not “over-edited” but still well done. Subscribed!
Thanks for the sub. It’s refreshing to wake up to a comment like this. 👊🏽
This video popped up in my recommended feed. Nice work! I enjoyed being along for the ride and the honest perspective on being solo in the wild. There’s always value in testing our boundaries. I look forward to seeing more outdoors adventures 👍🏕️🛻
Thanks for the watch and I appreciate the comment! Let’s get out there!
Just found your channel and subbed. Look forward to seeing the progression of your adventure vids.
Welcome and thanks for subscribing. 🫡. More trips on the way. I hope to go winter camping soon
Thank you for the video! For the past few year I have been getting out on my own for hiking. This year I’m planing on starting solo dispersed camping. I needed this video to push me out there to do it.
Awesome! Thank you for hanging out and watching. It means a lot. It can be a little scary at first, but it’s so rewarding! Happy Trails 🤟🏽
Your video popup and it resonate with me. I recently launch my UA-cam channel. I do mostly solo overlanding trips which I documented and will is currently releasing by weekly. I look forward to see more of your content as I do ground camping when I do base camping but also car camping when I on the move every day.
Thanks for watching! I actually prefer ground camping too because of my height. Something nice about asking up and putting my feet on the ground. I’ll check your channel out!
Pro tip: When camping alone, wear earbuds and play music to keep the scary noises away! 😂😂
Also, I use smell proof like 2 gallon bags. Cat litter, do your business, cover and zip up. Use again or throw out when back to town.
😂 same! cat litter is clutch!
Thanks for recording your adventures and, even more so, for encouraging us all to get outside!
I really appreciate that. Thanks for watching!
I Love this stuff man!!! I want to see more ! Where’s this filmed at?
Thank you! Made in Colorado 🏔️ 💪🏽
One day I’ll do a solo camp. Night time is scary to me 😂. Diesel heater is a game changer for cold camping.
I’m not scared of the dark but man it’s scary af. I want a heater. Haven’t gone down the rabbit hole of seeing what I want to get haha.
@ start w one of those Chinese diesel heaters from amazon. Best $80 bucks I’ve spent lol.
love to see it! 👊🏽
Yes yes! 👊🏽
What an epic journey, thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for coming along with me 🥹
Maybe an electric blanket since you have the inverter? Great video & rig! 🙌🏾
Thanks for watching and the suggestion! I ended up getting one haha.
That's a beautiful drive up, cousin!
Thank you!
Stunning. Love the views and omg a helicopter.
Right! I wonder how much gas was haha
That is an awesome set up. What sleep pad are you using?
Nemo Sleeping Pad. It’s been solid for over 100 nights now.
@ ok that’s what I have for backpacking.
@@justmattgray- no platform? How do you beat the hump in the back?
Good video bud.
🙌🏽 thanks for watching
Very cool, brother.

"some noises out there. I don't play with that."
"PB&J happening"
Basically, we are adventure twins. Quick subscribe and can't wait to follow your adventures.
😂 Thanks for the sub! Headed to Utah next
I could hear your inverter humming lol
😂 the whistle
I'm no expert, but we are told to turn off our engines at the pump. Yet a helicopter, which creates a significant amount of static electricity from the turning rotor, is fueling on dry grass with its engine running. Huh?
I did not think about that. 🧐 thanks for watching though!
Not a problem. Rotor wash dissipates any embers with the massive amount of airflow and even if it didn't, helicopter crews and fueling crews all carry multiple fire extinguishers. Probably 99% of people don't have them in their homes so they probably don't have them in their vehicles.
@J_Medlin 👀 (buys fire extinguisher)
You hit all of the overlanding words on the bingo card man, you missed " BEEFY", " Rock solid " and " get after it " 😂. Good video man, great to see my people put there enjoying nature!
😂 I’m cracking because this is 1000% true. Thanks for watching it means a lot.
great video
Thank you very much. Thanks for watching!
