You’ll need a software called a DAW - I use Ableton live. Usually DAWs come with sound libraries, I also use Splice which is a library you can download a vast variety of samples from.
good video, as usual, man. ;) I have been contemplating the Joué, as an alternative to the Jammy (which is close..but hasn't convinced me yet..) and saying..to myself.. why the hell didnt they make the Joué bluetooth enabled ?(!) When i clicked onto your video, i actually thought you were reviewing the Joué.. Turns out it is a whole different product, on the same approach. I want a guitar-neck/scale overlay, though.. How did you find the latency to being ? PS: I'm already on skillshare. If i look u up, should i find any videos, then ? PSS: Today i spent my afternoon struggling to connect and map 4 simultaneous MIDI controllers to the iPad, via MidiFlow & AudioBus 3. (into Group the Loop) Are you planning any videos around those aubjects? thanks!!
Latency was totally no an issue - didn't feel a difference from my seaboard block. No courses on skillshare by me...but have done a couple on ADSR. I'm super interested in iPad music and do dabble a little so it could be possible!! Thank you for watching and supporting the channel :D
@@Taetro sure, it's a pleasure, watching your videos, man. Keep them coming. Speacking of ADSR.. i am looking for a MIDI intermediate-to-advanced course. I have made the transition from acoustic/Audio into MIDI and i have been struggling with a few things.. namely mapping ..CC messages..and all that stuff.. either on Ableton (which i have just got into, as well, from using Logic) and iOS stuff, namely AudioBus 3 & MidiFlow. If you can point me to any of your favourite courses & videos.. that would be brilliant. Also.. if you make one of your own.. i might be interested..specially within the Skillshare world. Thanks again ;) PS: Any relevant news on the Jammy world ? Did you end up getting one ?
@Taetro I have just received my Sensel Morph, and want to find the Ableton Live software without the time limit trial to it, and permanently for free. Could you please tell me how to get round to the recording software for free, or its good equivalent, to begin producing? Any other advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
You've limited your instrument track to channel 3, but left the drum rack on omni, counting on the keyboard notes being out of range to maintain separation. I'm fairly sure that if you limited the drum rack to its own channel, you wouldn't have to disable pitch bend from the keys. It's only because of omni mode that the bend affects your drums. I'm like 80-90% confident in that statement.
Ooooo. May have to try that. There was some reason I couldn’t set my drum rack to a single channel...like it was receiving from multiple? But regardless you are probably right. Good thinkin!
Hey taetro, first of all I am a big fan of yours and I wanted ask if you have any spare rather old music related things such as microphone, audio interface or midi which can be used for making beats. I really would like you to give me some of these things if you have. I want to start a UA-cam music channel but I am lacking all those things. If anyone can donate me their old music related things would be very appreciated. Sorry as my english is bad 👎. I am from a small town from India. Hope some will help. Thanks
Wish it weren't Bluetooth and just WiFi ... Bluetooth is so unreliable with dropped signals much too often, would be terrible for a live gig, better off running hard wired.

Doing this now, hey man, where did you get your computer keyboard that's in this video, I love the aesthetic.

Nah bluetooth is pretty reliable, I’ve never had a problem.
Hey Wavescapes. Just saw your comment. You can plug in directly as well via USB
