The size of these waves (on a beach break or reef?) is stunning! What time of year was this? Also excellent photography and cameras -- some of the sharpest images of surf on youtube.
The name of the songs are "Waiting on the Bottom", "Wandering", "Dont you know", "If I Stumble", "Los Planet Airmen", and "Tres Deliquentes" You should see those local kids surf on broken boards and low resources. This comes form the movie Absolute Mexico

I have to admit, I have not being to the Bonzi when is breaking well. But you got to see this Puerto Escondido brake to believe it. I was extremely impressed. This is a South Swell, I couldn't get out without a tow. I had to go to Carrizalillo to go out without assistance(Another character beach). Telling you about it is not good enough.
@dennisdeslager0 this shot is from Zicatela beach which is not a spot for beginners. but 2km south of it there is a beach called La Punta with smaller waves for intermediates and in the north there is also a beach called Carizaillo which is perfect for beginners
I've been looking for this. We got lucky and just happened to be there for this session shooting stills from the beach. I recognize some of the waves. Konaboy on Flickr has some great shots of this posted on Flickr, mostly of Chandler, I think, the guy with the dark vest and white sleeves. It was bigger than huge. Ground shaking.
Waves like this, who needs to go to Hawaii. I was there this past June 2007. They were waiting for the big ones in July. Any one know where are some TuTuvo films with waves from this past July 2007?
The reazon waves are this powerfull in Escondido is the fault line with depths of hundreds of feet just a half a mile from the break! Great for scuba diving also. Enjoy the power of natura!

I surfed all of Puerto Escondido, y no vi ningun TIBURON asere. This tubes are fine with me, I don't know what you mean by cleaner. Do you mean larger and rounder? This is in the summer. Hawaii you got to wait for the winter, when it cost more to fly.
I just watched it again and ill stand by my comment yea you would have to be more picky but its not that big in puerto terms waves that big being ridden in every puerto underground video with pure arm power

El Estado de Oaxaca tiene playas hermosas.
